Ladies - I so wish I could sit around here and chat, as I really need to be with my DDA friends today, but I am busy at work. Know that I am thinking about you all and my heart is very heavy right now. It truly is a sad, sad day.

Dawn - you take care of yourself. I am praying for you.

Kate - I hope your first day at PT wasn't too rigorous. that you aren't in a lot of pain.

Sounds like a great idea!!! I am glad I reached you this afternoon. The only phone #'s I have are you and Deb. I couldn't get to my cell phone quick enough to call you when I rec'd the PM. I knew no one else would understand ......except for a fellow DDA.....the emptiness I was feeling for someone I had never met. Dinner and a toast to June sounds great. We will coordinate with Julia when she gets back.

That's the one that I just had dd take of me with June's Goofy. I was definitely thinking of her at the time, and I told my whole family all about her.

I LOVE your new signature. I'm so sad that I didn't get my photo taken. We were rushing in the mornings and tired and cranky on the way out. I told my friend about the picture on the way out my last day but Joe was sick with a fever and I was just too sad about leaving. It will be one of the first things I do on my next trip with even more meaning now. I need to go back!

Dawn-you and Caroline remain in my prayers. I heard a Neil Diamond song on my way to work this morning and could help but think of you and it wasn't even Sweet Caroline.

I was so happy to hear Vicki's voice this morning but in my heart - I knew that her call was not to bring good news.

I was so privileged to have met June in DC. She was such a sweet wonderful person. She often sent Julia and Nick little treats in the mail and they always brightend our day!!

I am sure that June is with her DH sitting on the Goofy bench - smiling!

The sadness of the news gave me the blessing of being able to talk to so many of you today and it was so nice to have a network of friends to chat with.

I have thought about so many ways to honor June and two things have come to mind. I think that we should start a Goofy thread and we should each get our picture taken in WDW at the bench and add it to our thread - then she will always be a part of each of our trips. Glynis and I have discussed that when we are there in January we will think of something to do for her as a group.

I also am going to honor June's last request of me. I will not go into details but I am sure many of you have a good idea of what it was.

I love you June and you will be missed!

I have a cute Julia story I was waiting to tell June - but I will tell you guys instead - I have a friend named April - this is pertinent to the story


Last week I told Julia that we needed to say special prayers for my friend Miss June who was very sick -

Julia asked me "is she April's Mom?"

I spoke with Amy earlier and she gave me the news. As soon as I got home I came on to read my PM and the thread. I second all of the sentiments posted by everyone. She will certainly be missed .

Amy has a big mouth , but she's right. I am still having lots of problems since I delivered. It's frustrating because it was pregnancy induced hypertension and delivering was supposed to eliminate the blood pressure problems. To answer you Glynis, yes I'm on medication. I was on a pregnancy safe medication and my PCP switched me to a stronger one today.

Last night I had severe abdominal pain so I saw my Dr. today. He ordered lots of tests to try to figure it out. I haven't felt quite right since my c-section so I suspect it is something related to that or the tremendous amount of stress we've been under the last few weeks. One good thing about stress - I'm 2 lbs under my pre pregnancy weight

Caroline is still doing well. She is up to 6 lbs 15 oz. She's eating really well and still spits up, but so far nothing severe like before she was on the medicine. We traded out our monitor today because it wouldn't stop sounding the alarm. When home health downloaded the information they could tell that the alarms were all false, so we're happy to know that. Hopefully it needed to be serviced and the new one will allow us to get some sleep tonight!

I want to thank you all again for keeping us in your prayers. I may not always be able to post when y'all ask for prayers, but you're always in mine as well. I try to skim posts when I have the chance, and I am praying for those of you who have asked or who are having a rough time right now

Amy, Brian and I have been talking about buying a minivan for a while now. We just can't force ourselves to spend the money. I have my eye on the Toyota Sienna, and I've been looking for a decent deal on one. I don't think minivans are uncool at all! They're much more stylish than they used to be. I admit, though, before I had kids I swore I'd never drive one

I haven't seen it yet, but my mom checked my mail and told me Christopher had a postcard from Donald Duck. I think it was sent by Lindsay, but I just want to be sure...I want to make sure I thank the right person!
