Good Evening Everyone

I have been reading off and on today between football games. I am kind of "bummed out" since our high school team lost last night and my son's 12 yr old team lost earlier this evening. But that's o.k............my new favorite qoute saying......"tomorrow is another day".......from Miss Scarlett O'Hara.

I am still watching Tech and Notre Dame. I am actually pulling for Tech since they are the underdog. But don't think I will give them any sympathy or support come Thanksgiving weekend when they play my Dawgs.

I have been keeping notes along the way since I am supposed to keep Deb updated while they are gone on their trip.

I will check back shortly.

Does anybody need a Desktop computer?? Starting tomorrow Office Depot has one for $99 after rebates. www.officedepot.com and click on view weekly specials.

ETA:This computer is a special configuration and not one you can just pick up in the store. So it must be sent to you the shipping would be another $100. I know because I went to the store to get one and they told me this, so I did not get one then.

I did however pick up a 100 gig hundred gig hard drive there that is $20 plus tax after rebate.

Have you got all your homework done?

I thought so but I just got information for another assignment due on Tuesday that I needed library access for. I couldn't access it because they just started a password system with the numbers and it wasn't working right. I just checked to see if it perhaps was working, since you mentioned homework it reminded meto check, so thanks. They changed it back to the old way with just the library number so I will soon be getting off of here and doing that assignment.

night all I'm going to try to work tomorrow. I went and bought some maalox on the way to my mom's it has helped a little with the nausea. It's still their jud=st not as bad. chat with you all tomorrow night or moday morning.

Well, it's slow here tonight, and I have a movie to watch. So, I'm calling it a night. I'm going to curl up on the couch and watch "Under the Tuscan Sun." Hope it's good. I can only watch "chick flicks" when Alan is out of town. I'll check in with y'all tomorrow. 2 of my kids are fighting bad colds, so I don't know if I'm going to take them to Church tomorrow or not. I just hate to have them around other kids, getting their germs all over the place So if I decide to keep them home, I'll be here. See ya!

Hi!!!!!!!!!! We just got back last night. What a wonderful magical time at Disneyworld. The Beach Club was more magical than we had hoped for. We were upgraded to conceirge water view..(I was in tears) The staff there (especially Teena) made this our best Disney trip ever.

I had the pleasure of meeting Beth & Bernadette who graciously waited for me as I was late for our meeting. The kids had to go to Philharmagic before we left FL. Beth gave me a little surprise from Paula, a beautiful embrodered pillowcase..THANK YOU PAULA, you are very, very thoughtful & very creative!

The parks were empty (empty for Disney) & we walked on so many things.
I am going to do a full trip report & post some pictures soon (dana's getting them developed now..I have 17 rolls!)

We had some wonderful meals..the kids liked the sci fi best!

We even took the DVC tour..Dana seemed very into it. I have to ask more questions here regarding that since I am on the fence.



Can someone give me the readers digest version of what happened while I was gone. Oh & yes, I did cry leaving the BC yesterday. We all did not want to come home.

Update on June...

Just got off the phone with Buddy, June's son. She is in recovery from surgery right now. They put in a mediport and will start chemo soon. I asked him how she was doing and he said, "Not very good." Please keep those prayers and pixie dust flowing her way.

More prayers for June.

Still a little breezy here, but not bad. However, the just came out!
However, our crawl space is full of water. It is even up into the well leading to the opening. Looks like a little work for Bob and me since there is no sump pump down there!

update on grandmother: shes still hang on. able to eat ice chips. this morning she pulled out her central line. shes going hoem tuesday with pt and nurse visits. care givers will take care of her at the house. hospise is being set up. doctors are worried she might asperate at home and get pneumonia. my uncles like that could happen or she could get pneumonia without asperating. doctors said she would probably die of dehidration before starving(if swallowing doesnt get better). the amout of ice chips she is eating wont sustain her and 3 cans of babay a day wont sustan her either. so the next few weeks will let us know.

Jennifer - would you like one of my phenergans? Run on over and you can have one - but only one b/c I really need them!!

I would rank my pain around a 7 today - when I get near the end of a pain pill - I KNOW!! I have no appetite - hey - maybe I will lose a few pounds - yes -I am at this point looking for the positives as I see no way that my knee will EVER feel better!!

I do have this really cool ice pack though - it looks like a cooler and there is cold water and ice in it - it has tubes that go to a bandage on my knee and about once a minute pumps ice cold water into a tube system over my knee - it is so awesome!!

Lots of swelling - minimal bruising - lots of pain!!! and I am bored - but making lots of headway on Nicks scrapbook!!

Continued pd and prayers for a fast recovery.

whatever is causing this icky feeling needs to go away. I woke up this AM and felt fine but within about 20 minutes the feeling hit. I am supposed to work tomorrow.

I will not be getting my internet day.
They messed up the date.
So I will be without for another week.
So I'm just going to jump in.

Still waiting on our furniture.

We are going to AK tomorrow.
It's a 4 mile walk to nearest bus stop.
Then 3 buses total 2 1/2 hour 1 way.
As I still don't have a car & nothing else to do.
