so what do you all think

They all sound terrific to me!

Sunday meant DH was helping out at a chicken barbecue for the New Holland Band. Plus they had a car show. So MTM and I went over to hear some good dance band music and see some really neat cars.
I am not sure why some of the pictures came out the way they did, but a few I was able to make look really neat by changing to black & white or sepia tone. These are the cars that Thomas really liked.

Some of the owners were by their cars, so I was able to ask if Thomas could "hop in"

We just got home from Alyssa's first ballet class. Now I can't get her out of her leotard and tights.

Awwwwwwwww... she looks delighted with herself! And your dog (Shane?) is adorable too!

cool pictures

Kate,

Glad things went well today. Keeping you & Nick in my thoughts.

Beth,

Great pictures! Nice to finally "see" you! Now I know who to look for when I meet you in August..

Denise,

Thanks for sharing your beach pictures..Looks like a wonderful relaxing beach trip.

Tia and Terry - Thanks for the ideas! I like the idea of metal colored fabric...I could actually pad it some so it won't cut into our hands. :thumbsup2

Kate - I have two tickets to KI that I won't be using this year. Wanna swap? :rolleyes1

Jennifer - Be lucky you have the airfare for backup! I checked today again with Disney and the only flights they have left from Austin are a 8pm departure and a 7am return!

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT THESE PAST FEW WEEKS!!!

The doctor's office just called and told me that Nicks test looks normal!

I still want to talk with Nick's doctor to find out what caused the original test to be abnormal -

but the nurse said that the echo is much more accurate than an EKG!!

I can not even tell you all how relieved I am!!!!

Kate called and Nick is done with his echo. He did not have to be sedated, as he was such a big boy and kept perfectly still.

She said there was nothing major at this point, but she still has to wait for the results to come in. Keep them in your prayers.

I guess Steve had a guilty conscience for making Kate suffer through the tests alone, because he ended up showing up at the hospital, but they were already done. So the three of them had lunch together. She is going to pick up Julia and will be on later.

Thanks for the update. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Nick and I are home - Julia didn't want to leave Grandma yet!!

He was SO good during his test and they were nice enough to let him try without sedation and he did awesome -I could not believe he stayed still for 1/2 hour!!!

At the end of the test I asked how I would get the results and they told me my doctor would call me but if it was serious they would not let me leave the hospital.

I then asked - and we can go

she said yep!!!!

So now I just have to hear back from my doctor - it isn't nothing yet - but at least it isn't something serious!!

I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders!! I can't wait to get a full report!!!

Thank you all for your support the past few weeks!!! It has meant the world to me!!

Hooray :goodvibes Yippie Skippy :goodvibes

Question for every one
has anyone driven to DW. our airfare is $370 a person. I found a minivan that I can rent for $733 with unlimited mileage so what would you do. It will be 2 adults possibly 3 and a 3 year old.

Yes, we drove 2x to WDW from NYC.

The first time we drove was in 2002. Our kids were 2,3,&7 at the time. We drove from NYC to Savannah GA & stayed at the Holiday Inn Express there. Took the 2 days coming home as well. Stayed somehere in VA coming back.

We drove again in 2003. Kids were 3,4,& 8. This time we drove straight through from home to WDW. We left here on Halloween at 1 am (Friday) & arrived at the CBR at 6pm Saturday...17 hours. We did the drive coming home straight through also but it took 20 hours. I guess we weren't in that much of a hurry to get back home! :lmao:

We are flying this August..got a good airfare $89pp each way but if I want to go again next year I know DH will want to drive to save some money.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
