I actually understood the drawing.

My panels will not be stationary. I'll be opening and closing them every day. I'm lining them with blackout lining so it will be dark for naptime. Having said that, what I was/am worried about is when I move them back and forth, the edges that are just turned down and not sewn/tacked down would unfold and become exposed if I didn't sew/tack them down. It appears that your valance is stationary and you don't have to worry about this. I think I'll have to stitch mine so I don't have to worry about it. The stitching won't affect the opening at all, it will keep the fabric from unfolding.

Am I making sense?

Dawn, I think what Kate is saying is that she sewed a 1/4" or so hem on the two pieces of material BEFORE she started making the curtain, so there were NO raw edges.

I was in class all day yesterday and then had my Notary test (won't get the reults until the 27th) and today I worked all day at the reserve.

I am 35 plus pages behind so anyone want to give me the scoop?

Thanks for asking went almost all day without it hurting but I think I ate something that didn't agree with me at lunch and it hurts now......though I had other aches and pains in church, I've decided that my body is going to heck in a handbasket!!

Her family had a birthday party for her today (her birthday is on Tuesday) since she will be travelin' on her birthday.

My family threw me a birthday party this afternoon. A new ice cream is just that one I've never had before.

There's been a few things.....

Tia is moving in 5 weeks!! Yeah!!

Elin is back home from the beach!! Yeah!!

Nick is having his retest in the morning!! Blech!!

Vicki took her PM on a bridge and he is helping her stop and smell the roses!! or at least take pic's of them!!

Quite a few people have seen POTC....not sure why but hey to each their own!!

There have been various sewing projects, home improvement, and reading books going on around here. Hopefully I haven't missed too many people.

I've driven that - scared the crap out of me!!!

I was riding with a friend and all of sudden he says to me -

"OMG - you are afraid of bridges"

I asked how he knew - he told me that I quit talking and seemed to be in a trance and that he had never seen knuckles that white before!!

That was my first big bridge and when I really realized the extent of my fear!

That must have been real torture - it's 17 miles long!!!

Before I forget, I'll be leaving for Girl Scout camp on Saturday or Sunday. I will be gone for two weeks. I may be home the Saturday in between and may have time to post. However, this is my first notice that I will be gone from July 15-July 30 at Girl Scout Camp and doubt I will have internet access.
