After the second time in the hospital, she is doing good. They never did find out where the infection was coming from but they did manage to get rid of it.

She just had her tattooing done for her radiation and will be starting that in Aug.
5 days a week for 33 treatments.

So long as she does well and no more infections, she is going to Disney with us in December.

My aunt went through this same course. She was so funny -- she was so proud of her tattoos....you would have to know the southern bell that she is to laugh about this, but anyway she was tired and felt like she was sunburned, but overall said it wasn't bad at all.

I hope your mom continues improving with no infections and gets to go with you to WDW!

Afternoon, everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! Denise, it sounds like the NYC trip is coming along beautifully! I also wanted to mention to you that you should take the kids into the Hershey store in Times Square. They have all the candy that everyone loves, plus some others that they are "trying out." While we were there they were showcasing Key Lime Almond Joy candy bars. Yummo!

For all you readers out there: I just finished a most wonderful book, and had to hurry and recommend it to y'all! The book is called "These Is My Words" by Nancy Turner. It is the fictional diary of Sarah Prine who lived in the Arizona Territory in the late 1800's. It was so well-written, I just couldn't put it down! I give it 2

Its that time of the month and I am having some smart pain. I have been diagnosed with Endometriosis, what do you use for pain? will Tylenol help?

Sorry to hear you are having that kind of pain. After 3 kids and c-sections, I told them just get it out. But that was back when they still really didn't know much about it.
Tylenol, heat pack,
high test drugs

We just had such a nice day. There is a local airport with a restaurant directly over the runway to watch the planes take off and land. We saw tons of bi-planes, small jets, and even a mid-size (40 seater) jet take off. It was a surprise for the kids meeting John for lunch and then going. Despite the 100 temp, we loved it! Then we went to John's new office bldg and got to see his corner/window office. It was a wonderful day. I took a few pictures, and I'll post them later.

Ok Ok befor anyone freaks, no I am not an addict. I don't even take Tylenol when I get a headache.

I was just in so much pain. An eight day period packed into one day. I could not move, just stayed in the bed for a total of three days because I hurt so bad.

Tomorrow I will be in all day packing for our Niagara trip. Just to let you all know that I will be gone from Saturday thru Tuesday..I should be back on the DIS Wednesday.
