Marci -

I don't know a thing about cats - but it reminds me of when my kids are sick and I can't get them to settle down

Julia was in the hospital with croop once and kept climbing out of the crib and running around the floor - which aggravated the strider -

the doctor told me - if she isn't being slowed down by it anymore - she can go home - when she overdoes it - her body will tell her

maybe that will happen with your cat - once she realizes it is hurting her - she will slow down - or maybe it isn't really bothering her

Kate -- thanks for the kind words. I am stressing way too much over Jessie. I just feel so bad for her and want to make sure I give her the best chance at an outside life with the healing of her leg. Every time I lock her in that crate and she starts meowing I flash back to pushing the garage door button. It's just in my nature to agonize over these things, even though our Pastor tell us to lay our trust in God.

Haven't been posting much.
Keep getting server busy & 40 second rule.
Tickers aren't working right either.
So I changed them.

Nothing much going on here.
Unless you count Thursday @ work.
Some kids without a D.L sideswiped me
while I was driving my golf cart (co. car).
I'm ok only got shaked up a bit.
Scared the C*** out of me.

Lots of prayers & pixie dust to Paula & her family.
To anyone else in need of some prayers.

Loved all the new pictures.
Matthew is a cutey.

Happy Birthday & Anniversary
to all I have missed.

I see it has been pretty quite around here with a few in D.C.

Well have to run errands.
Catch you all later.

Marci, how old are your boys again and names? The kids would love to send them postcards too! What do they like (for post card images)? Sports, Disney, etc?

I'm sure they will love the postcard! Andrew is 10 and Jake is 7. The boy love soccer and baseball, as well as WDW and especially Stitch. Any image you send (something about Georgia would also be interesting to them, since they've never been) will be appreciated.

Hope you and your family are having a great weekend!

ME!!!!! BTW, we have to go pick up the stuff from the party. I'll post pics once we get it. And we still have 3 big pieces to go paint that they got for their b'day.

Will do! I hope your kitty is ok. My brother's cat is in a carrier for 3 months (now) as he broke his leg really badly and just had surgery. They are just leaving him in it and letting him out 2 times per day to eat/use the box. I guess the cats get used to it? It's so sad!

Last but not least, Katie with her ice cream birthday cake. By the end of the party, most of the girls were sick of ice cream, so we took pictures, but saved the cake for when the other family members came home.

Here we have Leslie and Mary enjoying the mini ice cream cones from the cake.

Great pictures Glynis, looks loke the party was a big hit, very creative too!
Your girls are gorgeous!

Thanks. The party was fun, but I have to say I'm glad I only do "friend"
parties for my kids every other year. It's exhausting!

Glynis -- you did a fabulous job on the birthday party! Thanks so much for posting the pictures -- the girls are all beautiful, and they are really enjoying themselves!

BTW -- I'm not sure I could ever get tired of icecream....

The funny thing was, that was exactly what the girls said, too. Then, after they made their sundaes, and I mentioned ice cream cake, you should have seen the looks on their faces. Only a few people wanted cake, so I opted not to cut it. I really didn't want to make any of them sick!

The bags were really easy to do, and the girls were thrilled with them! I'm definitely going to be making some T-shirts using this method again. It's just so fun for the kids to help with. And the paint really doesn't get all messy. Really good craft for kids to do!

Well I made the ham potato and green bean soup today and it was a big hit. Even my very pickey husband liked it.

You will love It! I have only stayed there one night, but it was enough to make me want to return. I cannot wait for our Oct. trip  You might have already checked it out, but this thread has alot of info & great pictures:
