Kate -- thanks for sharing all of the pictures. It looks like you all had a great time on the 4th, despite the weather.

Good morning everyone! :wave2:

Would I sound redundant if I said things were crazy around here?!! As I was telling Jennifer yesterday, at this point, I am so anxious for Matthew to get here, because there's no way I'm going to get all I want to do done before he does (she claimed that made sense, but I'm doubting my sanity at this point! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Last night we went to Babies-R-Us and bought our double stroller. Thank you so much for your generosity! We will think of you all, every time we open and close that monstrosity! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I have no idea where our camera cords or card reader are, but my sister was kind enough to email me a few pictures from the last day of swimming lessons. Alyssa actually looks a little content, though there was still a lot of whining and crying going on. Do you like where she stuck her duck?!! :teeth:

We have a new refrigerator being delivered today and my mom is arriving tonight. I have several DDA phone numbers plugged into my cell phone, but no fighting over who gets to post Matthew's arrival first! :goodvibes

I hope you all have a great weekend! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Amy :)

Amy -- get lots of rest today. Prayers for a safe and easy delivery and here's a :grouphug: and some :wizard: as well.

Good Morning DDA,

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: All around

Things have been hectic here, I've tried to catch up but haven't done a very good job. We've had to have two of our vehicles worked on since we've been back and my DH was in the emergency room until late last night. He's been diagnosed with gout and his foot is really giving him a fit right now. I think it has a lot to do with all the alcohol he consumed on our trip.

Here's a picture of us with the DGS, he had a matching shirt on earlier in the day but it didn't make it all day, too many spills. Another plus to wearing matching shirts is how much easier it is to spot everyone, especially the bright colored ones. The two younger couples were in line for the backlot tour and were picked to be the actors, they're sure they were picked because of their bright yellow shirts, it made them stand out in the crowd.

There was a large group of people at our hotel with shirts one day, and I'm sure the design was one of Kate's. It was the Walt Disney World one with all the characters in the letters. The frame on my picture here is also one of Kate's.

Gotta run, I have a few errands ot do before heading out to work.

Have a great day,
Debbie
Debbie -- :grouphug: to your DH and to you. I hope he is feeling better today!

Hi all! I'm back in town, but my computer keeps crashing! I'll have to catch up later.

Hi Amy! I hope you check back in before you leave for the hospital tomorrow. I will be thinking of you all and praying for a safe, smooth delivery of Matthew. Give Kevin strict instructions to post pictures as soon as he can. We are all anxiously waiting to see the baby. I hope Alyssa adjusts well to the major lifestyle change that she is soon going to experience! :wizard: :goodvibes

The computer is back up, but I don't know what is wrong with it. I also have to go now to take the kids to swimming lessons, and orthodontist appointment, etc. I have to get to the store, since we have been gone and there is no food in the house.

I started to catch up.

Heidi--I hope that your mom is doing better and that they find the infection quickly. A friend's mother was in the hospital last year, because they couldn't find the infection source. Eventually they found a pin hole in the bowel and everything cleared up, but it was a long road for them. I hope yours is much easier.

Paula--I am so sorry to hear about your SIL. :grouphug: Use this as needed.

Amy--I am so excited that Baby Matthew will be here tomorrow. Best wishes for your entire family!

We had a great time at my parents. My brother came with 3 of his 5 kids. I missed seeing the baby again! His wife was coming with the baby today, but we had to be home.

:wizard: to all who need it.

Edited to add: I just noticed that my MouseHouse ticker is wrong, though it was right when I first got it. Anyone else's off?

Beth

:wave2: Amy
Mathew will make his appearance when he is ready.

:wizard: for your DH hope his foot is better soon.

Thank you

Yes my tickers were off too, so I ditched them and went back to my www.v50.net one. Never had any trouble with it.

Mine was off when I created it so I didn't even use it. I created it on July 1 and our trip is Dec. 1. It was saying I had 5 months and 3 days until my trip. I'm assuming it thinks a month is 30 days.

Good morning all. I have been reading along but since I got back from vacation I just feel out of sorts. It seems like I get on here and get distracted way to easily with something else and then I come back and am lost. :confused3 I think it is just this feeling that I am just not caught up here or in my house and then we are in the middle of making a big change in our lives.

While on vacation in Michigan, we made the decision to move out there. This has been on the table for a few years but after being there recently, I know this is where I want to be. I have felt for a long time that I am not home. I have lived in Maryland all my life and 90% of my family is here but I don't feel like this is the place for Eric, the girls and I. Our short term goal is 1 year and the long term is 2 years. I really like the area and the housing market is more within our reach as far as owning a little larger house. Eric has been researching his career field out there and it seems to be an area where he shouldn't have a problem finding something So we have been doing a lot of research on the job and housing market out there. My cousin lives in Kalamazoo and they have this program "The Kalamazoo Promise" which entitles kids graduating from the school system to a free/reduced college education to any MI state college/univ, so this is a major draw for us. If we can get there by the time Emma enters 3rd grade tuition would be covered 95% and Molly enrolled by Kindergarten would be covered 100%. Having family there is a big plus as Eric can stay with them when he is job hunting/interviewing. Not to mention that they can help point us in the right direction to available jobs and nice areas to set down some roots.

Sorry for the rambling! Just know that I am around and reading.

Sometimes his legs sweel like balloons with bad pain.
He has to be very carful with his diet.
Something with crystal deposits in his blood.
Natural cherry juice & fresh cherries are a good natural cure.

Decisions like this are always difficult. Prayers & pixiedust: while you are making the transition. I'm excited because it means another Michigan DDA member. You will only be about 1 to 1-1/2 hours from my monthly meetings so I should be able to get a chance to meet you!!!!!
