Absolutely. I'd love to hear from you. When do you think you'll be calling? You have both my home phone and cell phone. You'll need to call the cell phone if you call during the day as I'll be on the road but I should have coverage the whole time.

Oh Elin you aren't old!!! and your definitely not the uncoolest mom as my girls think their Ama(my mom) is the coolest thing ever and you all are the same age. Ummmmm....can you tell we had em young?

This is for anyone that sews....
I'm making paint cans for Halloween. Not human size, but regular gallon size, out of canvas. I got two metal rings about 8 or 9 inches (so the top and bottom will hold the round shape) and have no idea on how to make a handle! Should I just use the canvas for handles or see about using 1/2 metal ring with grommets...no matter what, I want it to be "stable" and look like a paint can...
...any ideas?

May I ask why you aren't just buying new empty paint cans to use as buckets? That was my first idea. If I were making the buckets I would probably use either canvas or some sort of string as I wouldn't want to poke anyone with a metal handle.

Poor Becky. She found out today that she has to have a root canal. We leave for camp on Saturday. The only appointment they had available is on Thursday at 2:00. Of course, that really isn't going to work. It is her 18th birthday!!!! So, she has decided to wait until we get back. Hopefully, the pain doesn't get any worse between now & then. She has amoxycillin in the mean time for the infection.

Cassidy had one of those 7/8 years ago....long story but the dentist is never practicing again. It went way beyond a regular infection...the poor kid. Becky should be fine.....Wish her a Happy Birthday from me. Tell her if a 6 year old can do it so can she!!

Because I don't want to take gallon paint cans on the plane with me! They are going to be our candy bags for MNSSHP. I really wanted something that'll lay flat in our suitcases, and this'll work best. I think I'm gonna get a large metal hoop split it into two, then use batting to pad it and then cover it with some silver metallic fabric...that way it's still comfortable to hold for a night once full of candy! I'm gonna have fun making the hidden mickey paint splatters for the canvas though!

Well if you ever want to sell them, don't put them on ebay.....let me know!

We have Billboard Dad, It Takes Two and the Ballet one.....do you want any of these? I can bring them with me if I know before 9 tomorrow morning!!

We just got home from Alyssa's first ballet class. Now I can't get her out of her leotard and tights.

Deb - how on earth are you taking your cat camping?? Won't he run away?

We have a large dog crate that we can put him in and I bought him a new harness so I can put him on a leash just like the dogs. He is an indoor cat so we've walked him on a leash many times when taking him to the vet. I know that if I leave him home alone and just have my brother feed him he will get really upset and be a naughty little kitty so he's going too.

It scares the poop out of me!!! I hate travelling and I hate it even worse when I have to do it on my birthday!!

Great designs, Jo. I have one suggestion - there should be an apostrophe between he m and the s in "Mom's 50th".

Nick and I are home - Julia didn't want to leave Grandma yet!!

He was SO good during his test and they were nice enough to let him try without sedation and he did awesome -I could not believe he stayed still for 1/2 hour!!!

At the end of the test I asked how I would get the results and they told me my doctor would call me but if it was serious they would not let me leave the hospital.

I then asked - and we can go

she said yep!!!!

So now I just have to hear back from my doctor - it isn't nothing yet - but at least it isn't something serious!!

I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off my shoulders!! I can't wait to get a full report!!!

Thank you all for your support the past few weeks!!! It has meant the world to me!!

That is great news Kate. Tell Nick that we are all proud of him for being such a big boy today.
