The day is finally here!!!

Is that a "Musket Mickey" Happy Camper t-shirt you are wearing, Hans, in the his-her photo? I think I can make out the word Happy in the log font.

Why it sure is :) It's actually my DH you see wearing it but I have mine on too! Love them!

Thanks for all the replies everyone! It is amazing to see Disney through my kids eyes. They are just so excited about everything!

Hope your having a great time. Post lots of pics. I'm dying waiting on Halloween for our trip.

image.jpg image.jpg We are home :( The last few park days were so busy I never got a chance to post anything.

We went to Hollywood Studios on Thursday and had a blast! Everyone but my mom rode Tower Of Terror. I thought my 5 and 4 year olds would be scared but they loved it! I really loved this park. I loved the whole feel of it.

Friday was Magic Kingdom and then Saturday we went to Hollywood Studios for Star Wars Weekend in the morning/afternoon and then to Magic Kingdom in the evening.
Star Wars Weekend was awesome!! We're all big nerds here so we had an amazing time. Even bought the Boba Fett stein and Han Solo and Darth Vader popcorn buckets.

Sunday was our last park day and was spent at Magic Kingdom. It was sad when we were leaving knowing we wouldn't be coming back anytime soon.

Monday was departure day. It was super hectic. We had rented a cart from Kenny and there was all kinds of trouble trying to return it to them. It put us behind big time! We finally checked out and went to our lunch ADR at Whispering Canyon. The food was delicious! Maybe the best food we had all week. We then headed on out to Downtown Disney to pick up a few things. We didn't leave to head home till 5pm. We decided to drive on straight home.....worst thing ever!!

My husband and I split up the time driving. He ended up driving 3 more hours than me due to me feeling a bit car sick We finally made it home around 11am. We all crashed on the couch except for the 2 older boys. They watched some tv and played video games. I don't know how they weren't exhausted.

Overall we had an amazing trip!! All the places we ate at were delicious! I can't wait till we can head back again :)

1) I am glad you are talking about your stay at The Fort.
2) Today (6/18/2015) is our Great-Granddaughter's due-date to be born!
3) We might be a tad more anxious than you, but maybe not by much.

Am I to understand y'all drove '18 hours' straight through??? That sure is pushing the safety factor for y'all and everyone else on the road with you!! :scared1: Were you also towing a trailer? Sure glad you had a safe trip home - (just maybe the older boys were not 'tired' because they probably did their share of sleeping ;-)

On another note, sounds like you had a happy vacation and made lots of memories to keep you until the next trip!!! :mickeyjum From the pics, looks like you had some happy kiddies!

Yes we drove 18 hours. We rented a trailer so we didn't have to tie one :) My husband and I switched off and the other would nap in between their turn. My mom was also in the car and would doze off and on so we usually had someone to talk to. I would never put my family or anybody else in any danger. If I felt like we couldn't do it safely we were prepared to stop off and get a hotel.

We really did have a great vacation! Kind of going through withdrawals now though lol!

Glad you guys had a great trip. We understand e hen it gets busy you really can't post much but I always say "vacation first, post if you can".

I wish I could get my wife to drive some on our trips but there is something about being in a moving vehicle more yhan 30 minutes that turns her into Rip Van Winkle.

Usually we get pics of squirrels, birds, deer, rabbits, turkeys, and armadillos but I think your's is the first otter picture I have seen.

Have a great time. We where planning our 2016 and looking at temps this week. Little toasty down there, but then again it was 92 and 72% humidity in the DC metro area yesterday.
