I hate snow I would rather it rain and thunder at night and be alll sunny and warm in the afternoon
around here it could be upper 80's -lower 90's at 1 and my 2:3 it would be 40-45 you really never know want could happen
that's why I will never have a outdoor wedding atleast not around here
I've never had snow so I don't really know, but still. A tornado is a scary thing!
The weather changes at the drop of a hat here too. It's crazy. We'll have the heat on the morning and the air on by the evening. Stinks having such drastic weather changes, especially when there's so much humidity. Not even worth trying to fix your hair lol.
BTW, love your signature!! Jason was hilarious. I love when he said, "I was thinkin' BOB MARLEY!!"
oh Heather!

I'm sorry about your mom's puppies!!! So the momma dog is still missing too? At least you can hope they are together. These storms have been CRAZY!

I am sorry you were without power for 2 days. I knew there were still some areas that were not turned back on (since I work for Entergy, we get email status updates) but ours was fine. We were off a little bit at night. The power at work went off a couple times (I know, ironic right?)
I hope that Darren's truck gets fixed and it doesn't affect your insurance. My cousin's husband suffered damage to his truck to. Even though I was out driving in it, my car seems to be fine. I got lucky, I guess.
And I will pray that the babies (puppies) come home!! (as you well know, I know the feeling!!)

to your family
Good news!!! At almost dark me, my sister, and Darren went back into the woods and finally they all came home, excpet one.

We're hoping she is home by morning.
That is ironic that your power went out at work lol. I'm sure it was restored quickly. Do you know the guys that go out in the trucks for Entergy? You might know my brother's friend AK.
Boy, normal around where? Your wedding party is decked out in smart tuxes and beautiful gowns and the guests look like they're in a rodeo. That pic of the guys catching the garter is quite a sight. Open collared striped shirts and worn blue jeans are way passed not fancy. You can have a fun reception and still look respectable. I have a feeling that years from now, you'll look back on these photos and feel differently than you do now, and wish you had requested the guests to dress appropriately for YOUR wedding and reception.
This is my family and friends you're talking about so I would suggest you keep your opinion to yourself. Yes, it was MY wedding, which turned out exactly the way I wanted it to (imagine that). I wouldn't have had it any other way.
No one saw it as disrespectful, they were coming to celebrate with us and to show their love and support. They could have shown up naked for all I care. They were there for us and it meant the world to me.
I never said I thought blue jeans were fancy. As a matter of fact, I never recall saying I wanted a fancy wedding. Years from now I'll look back on these photos and see the people that are no longer alive and feel very blessed that they were able to share this happy time with us.
When and if you ever get married, you can have people in ball gowns and suits with top hats and tails. I just sure hope some stranger isn't there voicing their opinion on YOUR wedding and telling you how it should have been.
This is my report for friends, so you can pass your judgement elsewhere.
Yeehaw.
