The Dasani Returns!!!! September Pre-Trip Adventures! THE NEWS REVEALED!

Congrats on the new car. DH and I may be buying a car this weekend too. We are looking at a 2005 Toyota Corolla. DH desperately needs a new car (his has no heating and this winter has been brutal here.) Wish us luck.

We got the Expedition with no problems this morning, besides the guy being late to meet us. I love the way it drives, but my Mustang hugs the curves so much better!!

It's also a teeny big for me...I feel so small driving it! LOL.
I'm going to look online for some Disney stuff to put on it, or else I won't recognize it in a parking lot :rotfl:

The parade is tomorrow morning, I'm excited!! I hope I have enough energy to even throw anything, I'm so wiped out. Actually about to go take a nap now, so I will talk to all of you later this evening! :wave2:

Love your Expedition. Mine is black and tan. It took me a while to get adjusted to driving it too. I had a van before the truck. I do miss my van but, I have gotten into driving my truck.

congrats on the new truck! Oh yeah I am pumped about having a day off, its going to be a long week let me tell you!

I'm reading from the beginning. The bridal gowns you tried on all looked good. I especially liked the picture of the flowergirl in the veil with the tag on it. :cutie: I loved all your engagement pictures. Where did you have them taken? (we did ours at the Mandeville lakefront)

Took a couple pictures of the outside a few minutes ago. It's dark and it looks like it's gonna rain! :sad2:

BTW, we don't live in a desert. My dad and Darren leveled out the yard and the grass hasn't grown in yet!

My computer room is the one with the blind open! :lmao:

I love your house! I especially love your doors. Yeah, I'm weird...I have a thing for doors!

That's horrible! Yes, my dad built it. Me, my brother, and my parents all live down the same road. I love being so close! Whenever something breaks, my dad has to come fix it! :lmao:
I hope you get to find some land soon.

Lucky you that your dad builds houses! I may have to get his name from you when we are ready to build something else. (it may be a while though)

Ok, this is what wedding pictures looked like TWENTY-TWO YEARS AGO... :lmao:

Beautiful!! :bride:

Im working right now and its 254am. Thanks for helping me get through a long night.

The only people out tonight are us cops, newspaper delivery guys driving on the wrong side of the road, adn the drunks at Dennys arguing about their $5 steak!!!!!!

I'm guessing you had to arrest someone at Denny's?

Thank you. I hope you get the car!! No heating?? That's just about as bad as no AC!!

Awe new vehicles are always fun!

 You just want to drive everywhere when you get one!

What year is yours?

congrats on the new truck! Oh yeah I am pumped about having a day off, its going to be a long week let me tell you!

Thanks! Still hope you're enjoying your day off! ;)

We got them taken by Rick King at Fairview Riverside State Park. It's beautiful there!!

I love your house! I especially love your doors. Yeah, I'm weird...I have a thing for doors!

Lucky you that your dad builds houses! I may have to get his name from you when we are ready to build something else. (it may be a while though)

Thanks! Glad you love my doors! :rotfl: If he's still building houses when you go to build one, I'll definitely let you know. He HATES framing though, and actually quit for awhile to just build cabinets, but he really doesn't have enough space for that yet. So right now he's framing my cousin's house.
If nothing else, he can do your cabinets!! :thumbsup2

It didn't have ac until August and it was one of the hottest summers here. We finally got it fixed at the end of the summer so we decided to get a car that still has a warranty and not have to worry about anything for at least another year.

The Character Warehouse is in San Destin, right between PCB and Destin. When we went last month - it was about a 30 minute drive from back beach road on 98.

Guess what - there's a NIKE outlet there too, but you may want to keep that a secret. There's also COACH, Fossil and some other great ones that I can't think of off the top of my head.

It's smaller than the one in Orlando, but not by much. I found some great deals when I was down there this last time.

I hope you get to check it out!:thumbsup2

I'm goin' there in a few weeks! (sorry, just had to brag ;) )

and they do have some really great stores there. You could spend 2 days shopping in that place!

Disney Update

As of right now, it's still Darren and I, with his parents coming a couple days later and leaving with us. They're toying with the idea of not going at all since they're in the middle of building a house, but for now they've still got reservations.

I'm hoping they do free dining this year, I will definitely make a few ADRs if they do. So if anyone finds anything out, let me know.

I was showing Darren some of the comments on my last trip report last night, and I think he really liked it. He asked what LGMH meant ( :lmao: And DH, DD, TOT, POR...etc) and I told him. I asked him if he wanted us to get some LGMH's for our September trip and he was like, "Heck yeah, I'll tattoo it on me I don't care." :lmao: He would love to meet some DISers. He said he likes to talk to people that like Disney. So we'll be getting some LGMH's before the trip.

He's not shy at all and will talk to anybody. I'm sorta shy, but do say hello to us if you see us!!! I'll post somewhat of an itinerary once the trip gets closer.

That's all the Disney news for now, more later! :wave2:

I love that he said he'll tattoo it on him! Did you dare him to do it? I would!

Simply beautiful pictures! Everyone looks so happy and like they're having such a good time at your wedding. My flower girl sacked out on a pew during our wedding, too. (She was just barely two--what was I thinking???) She made it down the aisle with her mom (one of the bridesmaids) and went straight to a family friend and back to sleep. She did wake up for the group pictures, but looks mighty confused in them!

I second that. Beautiful wedding and pictures!

Sweet little girl. I think most young ones do the same thing. My flowergirl, on the other hand, fell while she was standing with her mom (one of my bridesmaids) and the poor thing cried because it startled her. We were on a porch so she was a step up. She was fine though, like I said it just scared her. My bridesmaid had to take her away to calm her down.

I'm still enjoying the read :thumbsup2

ooh I will need new cabinets way before I need a new house. We have white cabinets in our kitchen. I'd much prefer a natural wood. Only thing is my husband works with someone who also does cabinets. So he probably would want to go with him :rolleyes1

I forgot to say I loved your LSU cake! I just wanted to put that out there. Gotta talk about LSU any chance I get. ;)

I'll be back to read later.

Sorry to hear your still not feeling 100%, hope your feeling better by tomorrow? Cant wait to see pictures, sounds like your going to have a blast, although I still dont get the whole 'Strawberry Festival' idea :confused3

Oh like the new car, plenty of room if the family extends in the near future ;)

I feel like a lurker since I never get to post, all caught up!!
Love the new car, I think I would find it a bit big too, I'm almost 5'1 and hate driving big things, I feel like one of those little old grannies trying to see over the steering wheel:rotfl:

Hope your feeling better, it sucks being sick, I myself am going on week 3 of some horrible virus :scared: Hope your nap helped!! can;t wait to read more!!:upsidedow

 That stinks! I'm glad you got a new car. It's so miserable with no AC.

I love that he said he'll tattoo it on him! Did you dare him to do it? I would!

:lmao: No, nothing permanent!

LOL it's ok. Friends do it cheaper so he'd get a better deal with the guy he knows probably. ;)

GEAUX TIGERS!!!! :cheer2:

Thanks. I'll have pictures up of the festival. It's just like bands and booths and strawberry crafts and stuff.

Yeah, we needed an SUV for kids, but I don't think we're having six!! :scared1:

Nice new ride!!!!!! I like the tinted windows......

Thanks! Me too. Gotta have the tinted windows.

Love your new truck!! Very pretty. Hope you have fun tomorrow at the parade!:cool1:

Thank you!! :yay:

it looks great. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Thank you dream man :thumbsup2

Hope you got your nap.

I did and it was very nice :)

I hope you get to post more often!! I'm short too, 5'3 and 3 quarters. I drive Darren's truck all the time, and he has a Ford F-150, so I'm used to big vehicles.

I'm feeling a little better. Bout to go to bed, we have to get up early for the parade. Sorry you've been sick for so long :guilty:

The nap did help, thanks! :thumbsup2

I love the new ride!:thumbsup2

Thanks!!! :flower3:
