Beautiful Ceremony and Reception pics. I love the little touches. We didn't do a groom's cake (at least that is what I call the LSU cake) I'm learning so much about LSU between you and Courtney. I loved the baby pictures of you and Darren. We did that but that was at my shower - 10 years ago. Seems like yesterday though. The Cake table was beautiful! I thought that the presentation of favors was really nice -I love pink and brown. But I couldn't tell what the favors where.

The wedding pictures are great!!! Isn't it fun reliving that day. Although I hate looking at my wedding pictures ('96) I hate how my hair was fixed and I let someone else do my makeup ... horrible. What was I thinking ??

The pictures of CBR look nice. Made me want to second guess our resort choice... Although I don't think I would get a chance to enjoy that hammock... Maybe one day.

Simply beautiful pictures! Everyone looks so happy and like they're having such a good time at your wedding. My flower girl sacked out on a pew during our wedding, too. (She was just barely two--what was I thinking???) She made it down the aisle with her mom (one of the bridesmaids) and went straight to a family friend and back to sleep. She did wake up for the group pictures, but looks mighty confused in them!

I was excited when I read your original dates b/c we would have been there at the same time - but then you had to change and now we aren't.

I am going to be there Sept 14-26, free dining on a bounceback from 2007. I am super excited and can't wait to go back! Staying at the POP for the 3rd year in a row.

I had the LGMHs on EVERYTHING last year, and was able to meet a couple of disers. Got to meet Utah Mama, and that was pretty cool - her TRs. She's a cool chick.

Aww, I'm sorry! I wish we could have stuck with those dates too.

I love POP!! It's so fun! That's cool that you got to meet some DISers. UtahMama?? A DIS legend!! I love her trip reports too! (Although she probably drinks Aquafina since she's a pepsi lover! )

Where abouts in LA is Hammond, I have family there and been several times, and I can't place it!

Also hopefully we will run into each other in sept! and I am thinking about doing a PTR for CBR and the real reason we are going, just afraid I won't have any readers!

It's about an hour/45 minutes from Baton Rouge. You should definitely do a PTR! I didn't think I'd have any readers either, but I forgot how welcoming the DISers are!

They are definitely going to offer Free Dining. We were there in Sept. 2007 and they were offering it. If you signed up before check out, you would save a little over 100.00 on the booking.

That's why my mom bought it, because it was pink! I think it was only like $5 so we weren't expecting much. I knew that, so I didn't taste it..Everybody else had to learn the hard way!

The favors were cookies shaped like little wedding cakes (my aunt made those), bubbles, spoons with tiny candy coated hershey kisses ('a spoonful of kisses from the mr. and mrs.'), matchbooks, and plastic wine glasses with candy in them. I had fun making up all of the favors!

I don't know about the ADRs, I'll have to look through some menus! It would be very exciting though, I've never made ADRs before! We'll see if we get it, I'll let y'all know!

Thanks! My brother complained about having to wear pink too, but he did it anyway. I told him, it's not like people are going to think YOU chose to wear pink, they'll know I picked it. I thought they looked very nice.

Your bridesmaid dresses were gorgeous, as were your flowers, and I like how the ones in your ceromony were displayed, very chic. And choosing pink as your colour was a great choice . Your Aunts must be so creative, that fruit table they did was amazing, was that chocolate covered strawberries I saw . I love how you incorporated LSU into your wedding so subtlety, it is obviously important to you both so was really nice to see it there... just like the Mickey cake topper. Your favors sound lovely and very creative and your wedding table was beautiful, I love those rings, a very special idea.

Any plans of what your going to do to celebrate your one year anniversary?

Ok I'm all caught up. I just now was able to get on the internet. My dad's internet is secured at his house and he doesn't know the key for it so I can't get on the internet there. I'm sitting at his office right now looking at all the updates. I love your all of your wedding pictures you guys look so cute together and looks like you had a beautiful wedding. My dad is surprising me and is taking me Disneyland on Monday. I will have internet Sunday-Tuesday so hopefully I can do more catching up later.

Disney Update

"Heck yeah, I'll tattoo it on me I don't care." He would love to meet some DISers. He said he likes to talk to people that like Disney. So we'll be getting some LGMH's before the trip.

He's not shy at all and will talk to anybody. I'm sorta shy, but do say hello to us if you see us!!! I'll post somewhat of an itinerary once the trip gets closer.

That's all the Disney news for now, more later!

This is so funny. We are meeting up with some Disers during our trip in Sept. (maybe we will run into you also) and my DH is asking all sorts or questions.
Every time I tell him about meeting someone else (ie Scottny @ TOT) he just shakes his head and laughs. I think he thinks I am nuts

Thanks so much girl! I was really pleased at the way my wedding turned out. It was mostly family that did the decorating and helped with everything. I was so thankful for them. They mean alot to me.

One year anniversary...Hmmmm.... It falls on a Monday, so that stinks. We'll probably celebrate the weekend before. No clue what we're going to do yet, but I'll let you know!
