I love the story!

I always say that when the time comes I hope I get pregnant around February---then, I can tell my parents on April Fool's Day and really get 'em confused!!

My baby could be born on April Fools day!!! I sure hope not! That would be a good idea to do though. They wouldn't believe you lol.

We did Ripley's in Atlantic City...it was Ok. Fun once but prob not again. Looks like a great day tho!

Yeah, definitely not something to do but like every 5 years or so, unless they get new stuff. It was pretty cool though. I didn't like that swirly tunnel at the end though. Really weird!

ooh...the place with the fish....I think I know that one! Is that the one where you can win your money back if you get the last hole? I could be way off but we played a course like that several years back and they had those fish you could feed there.

Yep! That's the one where you get $50 if you get a hole in one. It's nearly impossible!

I have found that if parents take their kids to disney as a kid they will love it as a adult

my mom went all the time that had passes and went every other weekend and my dad never went til I was 6 and he doesn't like it at all he would rather go on a elk hunt or something like that my mom and I love disney I have been 3 times I wish more

OMG Heather, I cant believe your news. CONGRATULATIONS honey, I'm so happy for you and Darren, its such great news for you both . I knew you wanted to try for a baby after your September trip but I didn't realize it would be this soon.
You and Darren will be amazing parents and your baby will be so lucky to have you both, it will be so loved and cared for .

And as for your sister in laws reaction well it really sucks. I'm so sorry that she upset you when it should have been such a happy time for you. Everyone can see how much you love and care for Logan and its a shame she cant react the same but I'm sure your baby will never miss out with you two as parents... and dont worry I'll be its 'aunt-from-across-the-pond' , I'm happy for you.

Awww, I'm so sorry about your SIL's reaction. That wasn't very nice of her and I agree she could have at least faked it a little bit even if she had stuff going on in her own life. Don't sweat it, though. I think it sounds like maybe she's a little jealous. I'm sure it will pass. If it doesn't, then she's the one that looks bad not you. BE HAPPY!!!!! YOU'RE HAVING A BABY!!!

Get ready for the craziest, sort of scary-ish, roller coaster of your life! YOU'RE GONNA LOVE IT!!!

I laughed out loud about you telling Darren to pee on the stick. When we first found out, I took the test(s) at home alone. DH was away for work so I had no one else here to pee on a stick to see if it was true! It was a really faint line like yours and they didn't have those digital one's then. It was also a Saturday morning and I had to wonder until Monday when I called the DR's office and the nurse said "how many did you take??" I was embarrassed to tell her that I took 8 of them by that point!! She was like...."yeah, I think it's safe to say you are pregnant".

I don't know if it's sunk in yet that we're actually having a baby. I guess because I'm still so nervous! I hope the first appointment goes well.
I took alot of tests too!! I think every woman does. I can't imagine just taking one and leaving it at that. That's why most tests come with 2 or 3 in the box!

Heather, I haven't been on lately but when I heard the GREAT news I had to post & say CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!! I will be checking here often for baby updates. You are so thin I cannot wait to see the baby bumps. You will look adorable pregnant & you & Darren will make great parents!!

that is our theory take em to disney young and make them love the place...parker will be there twice in 2 and a half years...maybe more, not sure if we are going to go on a cruise next year or not.

Thanks. I know, it was almost too big to eat! Haven't talked to SIL. She's been bringing Logan to my mom every day and today she asked my mom to go with her to take him to the doctor. Seems like she's trying to make sure she doesn't forget about Logan. I just don't understand her.

I've got this weird rash on my belly. It kinda itches, but not horribly. It's not bothering me other than me wondering what it is. I looked it up and it's pretty common in pregnancy due to hormones and stress. I've never even heard of this before! I guess I'm in for a wild ride lol.

Don't scratch!!! I'm still not sure if this is an old wives tale but they say scratching leads to more stretch marks. Repeat after me....."lotion is my friend". Every time I'd have an itch I'd just rub lotion or cocoa butter on my belly instead of scratching it.

the belly rash means that you are going to start showing tomorrow, just kidding i second the lotion candi had that for a few days, but just changed the type of lotion she was using, the doc said to try that and she did, i guess her skin was a little to sensitive when she became pregnant and had to change to another type.

Woohoo, a beach update! You guys play so much miniature golf, I love it. Did you like Ripleys?! We've been to the ones in Atlantic City and Orlando and they were both pretty much the same so we don't plan on heading back anytime soon. You've seen one, you've seen them all. I love the pictures with the tallest man, though! And those onion rings look so good! I don't think I've ever seen them so big!

I'm sad to see the trip come to an end but I'm so glad you had such a great time! Do you still have a beach trip in the works?

I've just been kinda...rubbing it....roughly. My grandma had 6 kids and never had one stretch mark (she didn't even know what they were!) and my mom had 3 kids and never had any. So if they're hereditary, I probably won't get them bad. I'll most likely get some around my belly piercing though, since I've heard those cause it.

I'm going to my mom's when she gets home. She has an aloe vera plant. That sounds real good right about now!

You'll LOOOOOOOVE the Disney cruise. It's so amazing. Definitely get a verandah if you can. I spoiled myself by having one for our very first cruise, so now I never want to cruise without one!

That was about the only thing to do, play golf lol. Ripley's was cool. It's definitely not something to do every trip, but it was interesting. I liked how it was a big ship.

We're probably not going on another vacation this year. We're going to try and get all of our bills paid off before the baby comes. The responsible thing to do, yes, but no fun!!!

Okay, a little scary story from today. I went over to my mom's house to raid her aloe vera plant to rub on my itchiness. We were sitting on the porch talking and it looked like it was about to storm. We saw lightning in the distance and my mom went in and told me to go inside too.
Well, I sat out there by myself for a couple more minutes and then went in. Not two minutes after I got inside there was this HUUUUUGE boom that rattled everything in the house. The lights went off and I almost jumped out of my skin!
It really sounded like a bomb! We went outside to see what happened and lightning struck the tree in the front yard. There was big pieces of bark all over the porch- right where we had been sitting! The tree is only about 25 feet or so away from the porch, so if we had still been outside, we might have gotten hit or at least felt the electricity.
It blew all the Directvs in my moms house, her phones, a treadmill, and knocked one of her sconces off the wall.

I'm kinda nervous about the baby since it scared me so much at first. I'm sure it's okay, but I definitely jumped about a mile in the air!

Anyway, here's a couple of pictures of it. See the bark all over the ground? Poor tree! I hope no squirrels were living in it.
