My head is spinning.
The other day I stumbled across the new Wild Africa Trek tour at Animal Kingdom. I guess Im not an awesome DISer or else I would already have known about it

Anyway, I really want to do it but the price is a bit steep. Its $189 per person for a 3 hour tour and a little bit of lunch.
Mr. D and I had been considering a gym membership at the YMCA. Its $40 each per month if you sign up for 3 months. 40x2x3= $240. We came to the conclusion that for now, its either the gym membership or the WAT tour and not both. And maybe not either, depending.
Mr. D says to me today; You know that tour is the same price as a day in Discovery Cove with the dolphin swim.
Hes right! Its $199! Only $10 difference. And for a lot more too. A dolphin swim, all day access to the amazing snorkeling reef, the warm lagoon, the free breakfast and huge dinner, free Pepsi and snacks all day, plus a free ticket to either Sea World, Aquatica or Busch Gardens
wow. Sorry Disney, but Discovery cove is the better deal!
So now? Discovery Cove, the WAT tour and a YMCA membership are chasing each other around in my head. Oh as well the option just save the money is running around in there too but unfortunately that one is losing the race.
I should save the money. But I dont want to.
My next best option is that I should get the gym membership. Healthy living, losing weight, access to the pool
but I keep thinking that I can do that in the new year just as easily. Theres only one trip to Disney until 2015.
If Im spending anyway, Discovery Cove is the best option for the money. The problem? Ive been there twice, so when considering DC as an option, Save the Money seems like a better one.
The WAT is losing. I would LOVE to see the animals up close, trek through the jungles of AK, suspend over a ledge above the hippos, sit at the raised platform above the safari
but for $189x2? Im just not so sure anymore.
We dont have much time to decide.
What would you do?
