Awesome cruise pictures! It sure looks like Wendy's having a great time. Too funny how they decided to wear swim suits for the sail away party.

Great updates!! Sorry Michael got so bothered in the parks-- I think we all know what it's like to drag in the heat. Not fun. Seems like a relaxing pool/fooseball afternoon perked him up, though! That's great that all of the cousins were able to hang out together.
You can tell just how much fun Wendy was having in the pictures! That's so great!

AK was just too hot, but we did have a fabulous afternoon at OKW! Wendy told me the cruise was the coolest thing she has done in her whole life.

Love the afternoon at OKW! Sometimes those are the best days!!!

Aww...cute pictures of the boys playing the drums in AK! My boys love to do that too!

Yay for seeing Flik! We've never seen him before! And wow you got some really great pictures of the Tree of Life in the background!

The photopass pic of John and Baby Simba turned out great! But... poor Michael. AK is so hot in the summer! I remember how it was when we went last August!! UGH!

Looks like it was a fun time at the pool!! I've loved seeing all your pictures around OKW!

Wendy looks like she's having a wonderful time on the cruise!! Those sailor outfits are soooo cute!!

It was fun meeting Flik. Always fun to meet new characters! I'm pretty sure AK in the summer is not going to be in our future. I love the sailor outfits too!

I asked her about the swimwear. She said they went swimming afterward so I guess there was a reason for the attire.

So after the sail away party Wendy told me they went for a swim. The next pictures I have are dinner at the Animator’s Palette. They all just gushed about how wonderful their server was. Here are a few pictures from their first dinner.

I think they liked the Mickey Catsup

After dinner they went for another walk on the deck.

Then they met up with Snow White.

The next day they went to Nassau.

Look at the color of that water.

They did a shore excursion where they petted sting rays. My niece really enjoyed it. It made Wendy a bit nervous to be that close to the sting rays.

After petting the sting rays they headed for the beach.

My mom bought them these conch shells. Wendy’s is now sitting on a bookshelf in my living room.

It looks like dinner that night was formal night since they are wearing dresses. One of the things the girls loved were Shirley Temples.

Sometime during booking my mom mentioned she was taking her granddaughters on a “10 year old trip.” That was translated by Disney to a birthday celebration so they brought both girls birthday cakes this night.

I’m pretty sure they went to see a show each evening because Wendy has talked to me about those. Her favorite show was the Golden Mickeys. Here they are at one of the shows.

That brings us to the end of Day 2. Still 2 days left to go

I've always wanted to do a Disney Cruise....this makes me want to even more!! Wendy looks like she is having the time of her life!! Great update!

The cruise looks wonderful! I want Zachary to be potty trained before we do a cruise but I'm dying to go on one!
(Jessica has the same bathing suit as Wendy - Target rocks!)

I've always wanted to do a Disney Cruise....this makes me want to even more!! Wendy looks like she is having the time of her life!! Great update!

Wendy told me the cruise was the coolest thing she has done in her entire life. So I guess she is having the time of her life! I want to do a Disney Cruise too. Maybe someday.

The girls loved the cakes. In fact they loved all of the food. It is one of the things Wendy raves about.

Tangerine Cafe is the place! I can't complain too much about Michael and the PP pictures in AK. I mean it isn't like I lack pictures from the trip

I know what you mean about the stroller but we are bringing it too. The big debate is which one but I am pretty sure it is going to be the jogging stroller. It might be cumbersome on the buses but I think we will be fine.

I did not know that laundry was free at DVC places--good to know!

Thanks for sharing the great cruise pictures! Making me very excited for my family's cruise next May. When I get back from my September trip, I will start reading up on it.

Day 3 was their Castaway Cay day. Here are the pictures.

They got to meet Captain Jack.

They all enjoyed a refreshing drink.

Some lovely flowers on the island.

They spent time on the beach and did some snorkeling in the shallows. I imagine they didn't see much.

The obligatory Mount Rustmore shot.

Dinner that night was Pirate night. I guess since they didn’t have a Pirate bandana they just used napkins.

Wow...I hadn't even heard of that special AK character meet at Camp Mickey-Minnie. And what rare characters....I don't think I have ever seen Thumper's girlfriend before!!! And a dance party too?!! That's awesome. Too bad it was so hot!

Your experience with Michael reminds me of a certain stroller-less walk I had with my kids from Epcot to the BCV.

As far as I am concerned, I will use a stroller as long as my kids want to ride in it! It is so much easier pushing hot tired kids than dragging them along in the Parks. And if anyone ever complains I will just tell them I am improving the overall Park experience for everyone...less tired, whiny kids in the Parks.

Sounds like Wendy had an awesome cruise!

I asked Wendy about it. They do a Pirate Party where they put on a show. Not quite sure of the plot, but it ends with Mickey flying over the deck. How awesome is that Then they shoot off fireworks at sea. Wendy said it was pretty cool.

The special character meet was part of the summer celebration I think. I was way more excited about the rare characters than the boys. I'd heard that people had actually met Rabbit (from Winnie the Pooh) there. I was really hoping for him, but Thumper and his girlfriend were good to. I remember your story of the walk through Epcot and could relate oh so well when I originally read it.

I also think it is awesome Captain Jack was there. They actually met Captain Jack in the Caribbean! How cool is that?
