Hi Debbie~ How are the pups today?


Today is our last day of summer vacation...so I am checking in her quickly and then spending the day with my kids... PJ has to work...and the boys want to have a movie day... both HS kids have practices this afternoon and meet the teacher for DS10 tonight...

I'm at work. DH has this week off. This is the first week he's taken off by himself (and we've not gone away) for a LONG time. They have "use it or lose it" now, so he HAS to! I'm glad because otherwise he wouldn't take the time. Not sure what he and the girl are up to today.

Meeting TinkerBean over near the mall to get the little Bean and bring her over for a sleepover and a possible trip to the zoo - weather permitting. If it's lousy, we'll go see the Smurfs. The Beans will meet us at my sister's house on Tuesday afternoon and we'll have a cookout and a swim.

I hope the furbabies are doing well today, Deb.

My pups will never be well, just a matter of time. The funny thing is most of the time they are both perfectly normal. Bright eyes, good appetites, tails a wagging... go figure

Last week of vacation for us. Today is my 19th wedding anniversary DH is working both jobs today so I won't see him til almost midnight.

Put MDD's cards into her b-day album
Finish challenge layout
Print a sample yearbook senior portrait to check size & facial measurements (yes, they are very specific about how the picture needs to look!)
Target to pick up shutterfly order that was sent on Saturday early and still isn't finished!
Work on event and page swaps
Dinner--tatertot casserole

Good morning. Just a rainy (love it) day here, in the 60's, and perfect for getting indoor things done.

Deb - were the pups born with this illness? What breed are they? It is sad to see any animal ill. It is even more challenging for we owners since we are the caregivers watching them go through this.

Nancy - have a great last day before school with your children.
Jen - bet dad and Morgan will find plenty to do!

I've got both cameras ready for tomorrow. .DH and I will both be taking photos... I have to grab smokies for DS10 but I already have our traditional breakfast (cinnamon rolls) ready to go for tomorrow... We get to sleep in an extra hour because now all 3 of my kids are on the late schedule.. school starts about 8:30ish...

Ok, off to grab DS from soccer... then a quick grocery run...then home for movies!! We watched RIO the other night.. .loved it!!!!

I took oldest to see his seizure doctor - we are keeping the med as is since that is working.
I'm basicly down to Hotel, Blizzard beach, Dream along with Mickey, Character Breakfasts plus Character pages
counting down until we leave - should be about 3pm on Wednesday
I really hate waiting

Think about selling futon? I'd rather put it in the old playroom and turn that in to a hang out space for them....... That is another project on how to repurpose it.

They evening practices are about to begin.. so it's a quick drive by... then dinner.. once over on some other things....

Definitely if seizure meds are working still to it. My DD goes to her seizure dr tomorrow. We are pleased where things are too. knock wood for both the kids

This morning I did the usual, feed cats, did the Mt. Washmore shuffle, wash dishes, threw my last minute things into the suitcase. Gave my little sweetie hugs and kisses, then set off for the most loverly bumping flight from CT to DC. I had to take a wee bit of something to calm my nerves. The Captain even ordered the flight attendants to take their seats throughout the flight.

Second leg of the trip was uneventful. Good thing because that was a tiny plane. We had to walk out to the tarmac to get on the plane.

Arrived safe and sound, did the meet and greet show, went out for dinner; Cheesecake Factory, walked the mall - found us a SteinMart. I didn't find anything but my colleague did.

About to call it a night. Sweet dreams, everyone.
