Think we must all have had a late start since I am saying - Good Afternoon!!

My hair has been cut, colored (no it is not my natural color)

hoping that Lisa and Megan are off on their "back east trip."

Good Afternoon,

Did a quick drive by first thing this morning before rattling the kiddos to head to the Zoo to meet AWM!!!

We had a great time!!! Knew each other right off the bat as I got out of the car she was already waving!!!! I knew it was her from her haircut!!! She looks fabulous and her DS9 was adorable!!!

Everyone seemed to have a great time and the discussions were non-stop and no gossip needed.. we talked about life and plans....

Now, I'm anxiously awaiting her call/text to tell me they are safely home... I had PJ call her to make sure they found the interstate because it was in the opposite direction when need to go...

The rest of the day will be spent chillin' with the kids and scrapping...
Mom is due up here tonight w/ PJ's senior photos!!!!

Nan, that sounds like such fun meeting up with AWM!! I'm glad you guys had such a great time.

I'm off today and even though I have a long list of things I should be doing, I haven't been doing them. Except for a few hours tomorrow when I go in to work on some signs and teach a class, I don't work again until Monday so my list will get marked off by then! It's been nice just not having to go anywhere! I'm teaching a new class tomorrow and it's my favorite of the new ones Michaels is offering so I decided to make my own version of it to practice up. I had such fun with it. Even DS said it looked pretty cool!

Here's what I made! It's made on a canvas. The class teaches a bunch of different texture techniques. I had already made the class sample and it looks just like the picture on the leaders guide so I changed it up to make it more me.

Made it home safe and sound. Stopped off at the grocery and library really quick. Had to get home for a potty break. LOL

5am comes way too early. I'm thinking I need a nap now. The drive was long, but very easy. Got a tad bit confused heading toward the interstate from the zoo, but we recovered quickly with minimum distance lost.

Little Bit had such a good time. He is talking non stop to DH about everything he did, saw and his new friends. He adored the goody bag. He is deciding what he can use the container for now.

I knew it was Nan as soon as she parked. Between her and PJ, I knew. She looks just as cute in person as she does in her photos. Her crew is adorable. I think everyone must have been on their best behavior. I didn't have to reprimand mine even once.

It was super hot towards the end. I've been spending most of the day hours inside and working on the garden in the morning or evening, I am not acclimated to the heat. Wilting wallflower, that would be me.

It felt like I knew her forever. No awkward silences at all.

It was great.

Waiting for DH to finish up work so he can download the pictures. [he works from home every Thursday]

I'm so glad Little Bit had a good time.. The kids didn't want to overwhelm him.. and mine were on their best behavior... my boys were especially well behaved... usually they are tormenting the crud out of one another!!!


We had a blast.. I need to make my list of must send photos for you that I said I would.. I will send them by the weekend!!! Mom and her friend are due up here in a few hours....

My kids are still talking about the Red-headed lizard out on the rocks... The animals were really active this morning....

As we left the zoo we found a short cut to the interstate going my way.. that is why I made sure PJ called to make sure you found your way there... next time.. I can get you to the interstate in 2 turns!!!! I use the back roads so I didn't pay close attention til today... Sorry!!!!

Ok, off to finish my DHS 2008 pages I have ready to go..
Thank you for my goodies.. I have to go through them better tonight.. I was looking going "oh, ah".. Got some ideas from them!!!

Take a nap!! We'll touch base tomorrow!!!!

Tell Little Bit next time he leads and we'll go to the Cincy Zoo!!!! (Maybe after soccer season before it gets too cold)...
