We live in a town home community with an association. Due to some recent actions by the board, there are a goodly number of neighbors planning a coupe. I, quiet and shy though I am, have become somewhat of an activist.

Stephanie, what kind of teapot cards?

My Mom wants cards in the shape of a teapot so that she can cross stitch a band that goes around the teapot. She got a kit in a magazine with one and now she wants to make lots of them. On my Gypsy, I welded the lids of 2 teapots and cut them out on patterned paper cardstock!

Good Morning Everyone...

Went to bed with, and woke up with a major headache. Took vicodin and muscle relaxants last night to get it to abate and it did enough that I could fall asleep - but if I do that today it means that I won't be able to do any of my driving chores (which I saved from yesterday!) I know that it is stress related and tried everything in my arsenal, progressive muscle relaxantation, meditation, creative visualization - and the headache is still there (and it's a doozy). I'll give the OTC migraine stuff another 1/2 hour, then I'll have to break out the big guns...

Thinking good thoughts for baby Blythe so that Auntie can go visit her soon!

Target (depends)

Mail packages (depends) DH is doing this

Going to Lexington to do the big swap. Give up Eldest and get Little Bit back. It's been nice having to only deal with attitude and not the constant fighting. Am looking forward to seeing my little man. I miss him.

be at church when senior's group arrives to make sure they don't use/disturb VBS stuff
reset church from Seniors to VBS
work on parent letters about Sunday
talk to music teach about Sunday
check with someone to see about an exciting children's sermon Sunday (in case of visitors)
start working on bullitens (I have 3 weeks to do this week before I leave)
go pick up vegies/fruit for VBS
help with VBS dinner
VBS opening ceremnoy
make sure everything goes smoothly
VBS closing
VBS clean up

We have them too.

But DH likes to put weird stuff on his phone and Apple will let put ONLY their stuff on the phone. You can't just search out cool games and put it on the phone.

Since my kids are totally into the games on the phone, because for some reason it is way better then the multidollar DSi we bought them, I need to keep the Droid.

I still call my MP3 player an iTunes. Drives my DH batty.

DH and I both have Zunes and we love them, but I want to be able to put cool stuff on my MP3 player, so I see an iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch in my near future. Morgan got the Nano for her birthday. It's sooooooooo cool!

Doing a fly-by. . .DS is having "stomach issues" today, so it's a bit of a messy day at our house!!

Just wanted to give y'all a Blythe update. Just talked to my brother, and her eye exam today went better. The dr says her eye is getting better. He said she's not out of the woods yet, but looking way better. She'll still have weekly eye exams, but we're happy with this report.

And in BIG news--I GET TO GO SEE HER SUNDAY!!!!!!! WOOHOOOOOO!!!!

Well, I got two dresses "made." The fabric comes all smocked, so I really only need to make a seam along the bottom and side. I sewed the tank to this one because I didn't really want to make straps, but I should have waited until M got home, because I think I attached it too low Now I have to rip it all out and have her try it on later. But, this is sort of what it will look like.

I'm going to wash and dry it and see how it looks. I did another one, but we need to go pick out some ribbon for the straps, so I'll post that one later. It's in the washer now.
