The Daily Grind - 6/15/11

We're halfway through June already!

Lisa, prayers, pixie dust, and hugs for DD's surgery tomorrow.
Lisa, have a fun time at camp
Rachal, good luck with all the move stuff.

DH was able to get DS's car fixed. He had to replace the water reservoir or something like that. But, DS is good to go so I get my car back!!!! I'm sure it's on empty. DS enjoyed using gas he didn't have to play for!

My day:
Fix DH's lunch
Give DS a list of dates in July that I need him to ask off from work (they have to turn a list in on the 15th of the month before)
Laundry
Clean
Cook dinner - take mine with me and let DH (and DS if he's home) reheat theirs
Work on class samples
Work - it's truck day, but by the time I get there it will be unloaded and unpacked. I get to work on the leftover stuff and mainly concentrate on helping customers!!

Its CAMP DAY!!! I'm trying hard to be excited, but know three days with LOUD kids, no sleep and wilderness stuff is going to be a challenge for me!

fun night time activities 1 1/2 hours
cabin wind down 1 hour
lights out at 10

Today is working the bulance

Spent yesterday cleaning garage and throwing out YEARS worth of "saved" stuff. Then cleaned gutters of all the maple "helicopters" then had County wide Fire Chiefs meeting

Today:
Hope I don't have to rent a boat to get to the HS to retrieve DS15. Of the 3 entrances 1 is closed due to paving.. 1 is farther from my house than the 2nd one... the 2nd one as you rounded the corner was flooding out!!! I kid you not.. an hours worth of downpours and cars were inching through it as to not flood out the cars!! No boat necessary.. once the downpours stopped everything dried up but the pond in the ditches... good gravy..that was nuts!

Rest of the day will be devoted to:
discussing w/ DS15 his spring travel soccer (I want him to return to the better club than we were at last year) He is returning to our home club!!!

discussing w/ DS15 & DS10 what rabbit posters they will do this year.. We didn't feel comfortable with the safety of our rabbits with new leader overseeing!
discuss w/ DS10 his expectations for travel soccer tryouts tonight (if they aren't rained out)
scrapbook a few pages

Good morning!! I'm feeling off-schedule today! DS & I slept til 8:30. . .first time I've had a good night's sleep in about a week! Then, I talked to Mom & DH on the phone, so my morning went by before I was ready for it to do so!

DIT--yay for Andrew's car!!! And for you getting yours back!

7. Get DS's little pool out to play, if it doesn't start raining--rained us out!

balance checkbook - it took me several seconds to figure out why Dh's deposit wasn't in the bank, it's not Friday.
write out bills
placed CM order - there is a new CM cricut cartridge!!! Yahoo!!!!
pick up DD's prescription
do hospital pre-admission
Play with Mt. Washmore
3 miles on the bike
oversee tubby time - last one for a bit until the cast comes off
Watch Top Chef Masters - I am routing for Tracy
