Rachael, watch over the moving company as they write up your inventory. They sometimes write scratched and gouged, if the item has a small scratch. If fact, they should have given you a book called "Your rights and responsibilites as a shipper." If they didn't, go to www.fmcsa.dot.gov and look for it. It is worth reading before your move. Also check their safety rating under the SMS section. All you need is their DOT #. If you need more help, pm me. You want to make sure you are using a legit company who has the proper authority to do household goods moves.

Wow, DiT, 102 degrees. I think the highest it got was 67 here. Last week it was 97, this week 67 and raining. Gotta love New England weather.

My Tuesday to do:

Feed cats
put laundry away
put a load of laundry in the wash
write in DD's communication book
get DD up and ready for school. We all went to bed super early last night, it felt great but wouldn't you know she still wanted to stay in bed. :rotfl2:
work
order last of office furniture
bank
talk to Children's Hospital. Got DD's surgery time for Thursday. PD please.
talk to MomE.

Thanks Lisa :goodvibes he gave me that little book, havent had time to read it. He came to make sure he was giving me the best estimate and probably didnt believe me that we dont really have anything to move. :lmao: I divorced it all. I checked them out online. they look good. No crashes or anything. haha and have a good rating. :thumbsup2 but i am going to pass your link to a friend of mine who is fighting to get her stuff from the moving company for the last 2 weeks since she moved from CA to OR.

They're only moving it across town. I'd rather just do it ourselves but we're on a time crunch with dance recital and work and wanting to get out by the 30th. I dont think he was prepared for how organized I have everything. He was all we can put everything in each room for you. I just said get it upstairs, downstairs, and in the garage and quick as possible. The house is big enough to fit everything we own in the living room.

:wizard::wizard::wizard: For DD!!!! :wizard::wizard::wizard::wizard:

Lisa will be sending good vibes and prayers on Thursday :goodvibes

Rachal - sounds like you have everything covered and organized! good luck with getting everything finished up this week!

Thanks Lisa, but for some reason I feel so frazzled!!!

just get through the next few days and things will settle down after the recital and getting moved...get the house liveable and take your time getting the rest done!
