Good morning!! Hope everyone is recovering from the rocky starts of Mother's Day yesterday....

I have breakfast served in bed by DS10 along with a poem.
DD made me a Disney coupon book and a nice card she bought..
DS14 wrote me a card out and I spent more time laughing because of what he wrote.. OH and he gave me marshmallow bunny poles... they where given to them for Easter by mom but because no one had opened them he regifted them to me! DH didn't say squat to me until about 5pm last night.. WHATEVER! WE did go to the zoo as a family and had a walk by the canal.. it was a nice day overall...


Today, I was up on time and accomplished all my chores on the list..
So I will reward myself with a nap..

then...

check in on Buffy she returned late last night but they had a wonderful trip to Disney and run
email friend about meet up in June (yay! I get to see my sorority sister)
work on Epcot swap (completed 4 groups)
make list of supplies needed for Norway (group b set)
pick up kids
homework duty
snack
enjoy the beautiful day.. supposed to be 76 today; 86 tomorrow and 84 on wednesday

Nan, sounds like you had a nice day yesterday.

This was my weekend to work so I was at Michaels most of the weekend. A coworker had previously told me that the manager didn't schedule Moms to work on Mother's Day, but apparently that was incorrect because there were 3 of us there! But the manager did bring in lunch for us Moms which was nice especially since he had to pay for it himself, not the company. DH & DS made breakfast for me before I left for work. DS gave me an awesome paper stack and then he showed up at Michaels later in the day to give me a card and a hug. While I was gone, DH and DS cleaned the house!!!! I really that!

Today:
Make lunches
DS up and off to AP exam
Pull stuff together for class
Work
Teach scrapbook class
Catch the end of DWTS
Sleep!

Good Morning

I had a lovely day yesterday I got up early to paper piece in solitude. Then I was told to "go back to bed so I can bring you your breakfast". Rachel was quite insistent I got a couple gifts then Rachel ad I spent the afternoon with my mom.

Work on swap stuff

"Top of the Mountain" awards ceremony for the girls tonight. This is a fun ceremony because only the kids chosen as the top of their class are invited. The teachers each choose 1 student per grade level per subject.

dance class, going to teacher's house so the girls can record their song for the recital, that way the music will have their voices!

Its Monday... Again.

Mothers day was great. DBF took me to dinner friday night. All by ourselves. Then Saturday the girls brought me candy they had bought. Work on Sunday, but I got a beautiful bunch of purple and pink tulips in an amazing purple vase. From all of my kids baby K is now included on everything. Girls cleaned up the house (most of it) They even helped me fold and put away the laundry last night. DD#3 rocks at matching socks. Then we had dinner at my parents house.

Today: everyone is up and getting ready.

Happy everyone had a nice Mother's Day! DH and the kids stopped by work about 2 with tea and chocolate, it was perfect timing as I needed the recharge after a chaotic morning! They also did the dishes and some laundry, so all in all not a bad day. Now if I could catch up with the rest I will be in good shape.

they did great, they took a couple girls in at a time and then will put it all together! they were a bit crazy in between waiting for their turns though!
