Ok, I'm up..but stressed... it's our last day of school.. Storms were more noise makers for us...but not so much south of us... Have family members with damage...

My cell phone screen is not lighting up... so I can't see who is calling, texts, etc... It was fine when we went to bed last night... I am not a happy camper..

I sent my DS10 off to his last day of upper elementary! I have some grumpy HSers who have finals today.... They studied through the storms.. everyone slept in the basement for safety... My DS14 and I decided the storms skirted us because we invested in a sump pump!

Today:
older kids off to finals
get ready
go to cell store and throw a hissy (a sweet one to get me a phone at no cost)
scrap 4 pages
lunch
school for DS10s awards
home
await older kids to get home from finals
take all kids to get DQ as a treat
get DS10 ready for soccer game
dinner
enjoy evening
make list of stores we need to attack on Friday (including my eye appt)

Nan, I hope the damage to your family members' homes wasn't too bad and that everyone is safe. Hopefully you'll have no more storms today.

Only 3 days until DS's graduation party (I'm not ready!)

Shop at Michaels before I clock in - I need to get some things for DS's cake (box, boards, icing coloring, etc.)

Damage is minor thank goodness... My sister had a minor meltdown... my gosh... I thought I was going to have to drive down to safe her.. she was 2 blocks from home but couldn't get home due to trees down and flooding... she was in a panic.. I'm like park the car and walk! Bless her heart!!! Mom has dents from the hail in her new car.. she's not a happy camper... (first new car in over 30 years...so it's precious to her).

Cheryl ~ good luck to the kiddos with their finals and hope DD#1's job interview goes well..

DIT ~ make your list and don't over stress yourself!!! Wish I could help out!!! (I think if the schedules go correctly, our kids will graduate exactly one year apart.. the schedules show PJ should graduate June 1 next year)...

Got my new phone..cost me $30, actually had to add the little one a phone line..but he was due to get his phone soon anyway.. we just won't tell him yet!

Nan- I hate new phones. always such a headache. DD#1 broke her phone, it got smashed in her back pack at school. We borrowed one from gma and she has to figure it all out.

Yes 25 days!!! They bumped up our move date by 30 days. was supposed to be July 20th. but the current guy is now going to be out on June 15th. so we get the keys on June 20th. I am going to pack everything and we are hiring movers to come and load the truck and unload it on the other end. We cant move over the weekend because its dance recital and there just isnt time. Going to be a crazy 25 days!!

happy you get to move in quicker than planned, even though it will be a rush for you....having the movers will make it sooooo much easier for you, with mine, I just told them where to put everything, they took apart all my furniture and then back together (beds, etc) by the end of my first day here we had both bedrooms set up with furniture and beds made, bathrooms put together and kitchen was unpacked!
make sure to label EVERYTHING well and have them put on the truck last what you are going to need first!
