Well, hello Tuesday! Let's see what you have in store for us today... This could be a very interesting night...

DH and his Dsis and Dbil are in FL for Grams services. They landed safely after a delay departing ATL last night. However getting them home tonight could be interesting.

Storm due to hit here about rush hour tonight... I just need to get DS17 home from work... I can get to him if need be but he doesn't like me picking him up... tough luck sometimes buddy!


Today's agenda:

lunches x 2
watch forecasts ---- say a prayers there is only a 2 hour delay for tomorrow..
load of towels
DS13 up for school
review his Science vocab for quiz today
DS13 to school
grocery for milk, bread (just get a gallon of each I have some here already but safety measures w/ the change in totals every few minutes)
DS17 up
remind him straight home after work and to take his time, leave distance between cars and be defensive
DS17 to school/work
scrap
pick up DS13
homework -- another prayer that only a 2 hour delay tomorrow
dinner
scrap
DS17 home from work
watch DH's flights back home this evening
watch the snow fall
hope DH gets to the house from airport -- 20 minute drive...but all depends on weather since he doesn't land till 11:30pm...



I think that will be all I can do today besides some odds and ends.... I hope every one has a great day..

Safe travels for your DH Nan and for DS when he leaves work today. I was watching the Today Show this morning and saw the triple threat coming to the northern states over the next 5 - 6 days. My friend up in Canada sent me a pic of their snow last night, they have it stacked 8 feet high at each end of their drive way. The pic included her husband on top of one of the piles, resting his right arm on top of their lamppost! They are expecting more all this week and don't know where they are gonna put all the extra snow as they dig their way out of their drive and walkways. She said they haven't seen snow like this since the 80's....

Speaking of the 80's, that will be our temp today . DH is home another day battling his head cold and I'm getting a scratchy throat - blah!

Safe travels &healthy thoughts sent.

We are (quietly & carefully) hoping for some snow. I know, I know!! We have had cold, we have had extreme cold, but not a lot of white stuff. My little guy desperately wants to make a snowman!! I am fine with an immediate disappearance. He may get his wish this weekend, we look just out of tonights snowfall. (this has happened to us all year, it's a conspiracy! It's been north, south, east & west of us, but we are living under a dome!)

Today will be more cleaning &decluttering. I am making progress, but the toy room needs more work today. I need to get bathrooms done as well & I will call today a success, since I feel I could be getting sick. I am going to take it slow and easy today.

prayer request for my brother, he is having neck surgery this morning to put a plate in....long story short, he hurt it years ago at work (yay L&I) had it fixed a couple years ago, but didn't work, been fighting since then to get it done again!


10 tens until our DLR trip with friends, can't wait for some

Thank you all... this could get interesting.... they are saying 9-12 here now.... and supposed to hit heavy about the time DH should be arriving here....

I went and cleaned a spot near the mailbox so I could measure the new snow versus the snirt (snow+dirt) we still currently own. LOL Let's see what we get.. I hope it is just snow..they can plow and have a 2 hour delay.. if not, I'm willing to send my boys on Saturdays to make up these days so we can get out on time... Please please please!

thanks everyone, he did fine in surgery and recovery...will be in hospital at least through tomorrow...they found a bone spur too which was causing his arm numbness...will be out of work at least 3 months and have PT down the road too.


Cassey tell you boss you;ll come in if he pays for a hotel if you can't get home!

Nan, hope the snow holds off until everyone is home safe tonight!

Glad to see your brother is doing well, Lisa. They are predicting 8-12, big kid is hoping for no school, but so far not a flake here, so we shall see.... Happy digging out later to anyone that has too!
