well I'm going to post tonight...being gone 2 days from the DIS and it took me almost 5 hours to get caught up on my threads so tired and going to bed....

Happy first day of February....hope the s*** leaves soon, that "Phil" doesn't see his shadow for the eastcoasters sake...that everyone is feeling better!
I posted a bit about our trip on 1/31 thread, was fun, but won't be doing it again!

my day:

megan up and out
put away stuff from trip
school for math tutoring
balance checkbook
pay bills on line
double check I have all my stuff together for Wed phone conf with my CPA
p/u megan
homework
dinner - what ever is in the freezer and easy
crash early - muscles are soar from the water park and of course didn't sleep well either - people are so rude in hallways at night

Good morning! Woohoo for "Not Monday"! Can't believe it's already February!! DS is officially "2 1/2" today, annnnnd it's 2 months from today, we leave for WDW!!!

I hope the crazy weather leaves everyone alone!! We're supposed to get wind and rain today. . .lots better than sn*w!

My list for today:

2. Caffeinate
3. Pack DH's lunch
4. Clean kitchen/dining
5. DS's stuff together & to mom's
6. Work--testing today. Blech.

8. Pick up DS

10. Walk, weather permitting

14. Go to sleep early. . .soooo sleepy this morning!!

I'm keeping Morgan home. I have a feeling they'll be calling school early and I'd rather not deal with a thousand people trying to pick up at the same time, plus I hate hate hate driving in the snow. Yes, SNOW! Storm watch from 6 am today to 1 am THURSDAY. 41 hours of winter advisory. I can't take it. Expected to get something like 8 inches today and 16 inches tomorrow.

So...My day will be running out to get some groceries and then scrapping and doing laundry.

Got some of the ice here. 90 minute delay.

DH is working from home too this morning. We had birthday cupcakes this morning with him instead of waiting until this evening.

Not sure what the day will bring. Have laundry and general house cleaning along with some scrapbook making and I need to get to the post office.

It's a balmy -32 here this morning, school has been cancelled and DH stayed home from work. At least we didn't get much s**w.

My day will consist of cropping and staying inside

It's February!! I love February because it means my big Cape Cod Crop is just next month!
wdwmickey, as in 32 below?!! that is frigid. Stay inside and stay warm.

My to do today:

Get up to look for school cancellations, Yup, no school
wood in the woodstove
Feed cats
Feed dawg - She and MomE spent the night due to the storm
Walk dawg
Make pumpkin muffins
put laundry away
Call in for a vacation day

worry about DH on the roads. He is up by Po3's area and says the roads are bad
Guess later we'll have to dig out, right now it is only sn@wing
Watch UConn/Duke Womens basketball game that I dvr'd last night

I experience 40 below in Stillwater, NY, but it was a dry cold. Seriously it was a cold like I've never experienced.

It's bad out there. Morgan and I went out to get some stuff and ended up coming right back. Roads are horrible and then my windshield wiper broke! There was at least 3 inches out there already at 9:00.

...and yet another snow day here. Won't bother to express my frustration. Potentially tomorrow could be another one. Should get a lot of scrapping done.

We have ice!!!! Still have power..but got about .50 inch of ice... so far... They called school last night thank God! We have a little speedy bump at the end of drive and the ice covers it so it looks like the road and the drive are one piece... When you slam your foot down on the "snow" the ice actually drops you down into the snow.... DH says depending on where you scrap the car you either have about .25" of ice or a full inch down where the wiper blades are (because of the slope)... The second round of this storm is due in today.....and it's the same... ice... maybe snow..but they are saying we'll get more ice... The kids were glad to have the day off.. that means PJ needs to follow up and see if she has to take her college test online or if it was postponed til Thursday..


So today:
general house chores
sort photos/sketches for Feb order
clean up scrap desk/area
keep kids moving on assignments
scrap at least 6 sports pages for the kids
tonight I would like to enter all my calendar stuff on the calendar scrapbook pages and decide on colors for those pages to do tomorrow...(these are for my 2010 family album).


Ok, I think I hear DH coming in from scraping so I better get him some hot chocolate and get out of his way so he can go back to work..

Nan - I have been watching reports on TV of your ice storm and it sounds severe. Do hope that all of you are safe. We are on the fringe of ice/snow for tomorrow being right on the CT/MA line.

Well change of plans.
I cleaned up and re-organized, put everything away from my scrap space in the living room, back into the bedroom.
Vacuumed under everything.
Apparently we need cleaning supplies so off to Walmart we go. Hopefully there wont be any shootings.

went to school for math tutor and Megan came home with me....been fighting a cold all weekend and she's miserable...so gave her lunch and sent to bed...just checked on her and she's actually sleeping!
