The Daily Grind ~ 12/7/11

Mornin' all. woke up with a small headache.. Yuck!!!

So, this morning, I have done a bit to keep busy since I need to get the kids off to school. Once I drive DS11 to skl (older kids have a meeting), I will come home and take a small nap before finishing up the DHS swap.

My goals for today:
nap til 9:45am
DHS swap (parade group)
finishing touches on 2 other groups
recut from my new inspiration 1 letter group
verify checkins for both swaps/send follow up PMs out for info if I have not heard from them.
pick up DS11 from school
cut labels for swap
determine elf activities for night
homework duty
dinner ~ chicken noodle soup & mash potatoes
bag and tag swap
crash

Good morning - this is my day to begin school later on their revolving schedule.
Finished knitting my eternity scarf last night - and my first Special Olympics scarf only needs to be finished off where i kept changing colors.

Getting my scrapbooking supplies together for Lisa's on Saturday. They are talking possible snow for tonight, but the amount seems low, 1-3 in right now. Tomorrow it wll be sunny and clear, good melting. LindaBabe is supposed to arrive Friday afternoon, and then a full day of scrapping. Should be an exciting day........

Nancy - hope your headache disappears as the day goes on. Take a longer nap....

Sorry to hear about the headache Nan, you must have been channeling DH because he's had one since last night.
I need a nap too!! DH was up at 3, got up for good at 5 and woke me up trying to find a shirt with a flashlight. LOL

Must do's today:
Hammer out last of paper dolls. I'm battling with Ursula right now. ERGH!
Put all laundry away, I need more closet space!
finish cleaning living room - Must do for elf arrival.
Get tree in
Haul decorations down
start on deep clean of the kitchen
lunch
get kids
DS11 and DD to chiro at 5:15
DS15 from track meet (late, late, late). The meet is at Wesleyan University so I'm not driving there, especially in this rain. Hopefully they will feed the kids. '
dinner - spaghetti (Oh gotta run to the store for supplies)
maybe start the tree

work on medical file
write checks for property taxes - why this time of year I ask you!?
clean bathrooms
vacuum kitchen
dinner? pork chops maybe
rotate laundry
run DW
email 4H scrapbooking group - onsite meeting at JoAnns tomorrow night
Find something for girls to wear to see santa - wanted them to match but??

Nap helped a lot!!! Slept til 1045.... (minus my family texting to interrupt me... but thats okay...cause they were checking to see if I felt better.. LOL)

going to eat lunch and go to the scraproom and reboot laundry!

doing the single digit dance today 9 days until we leave for DLR! and spending the weekend with Cheryl and Rachel, then up to Modesto to visit our friends!

Good morning (although it is almost afternoon here),

I ahve been having an advenutre attending a wedding the past few days. Definaely one for the scrapbooks but I am home and will be for a few days while my car is in the shop.

Today:
get maid number from friend (my mom decided that she would give me some maid service instead of things this Christmas).
work on paper dolls
church stuff tonight
wait for a call back about the transmission on the car and when I will be able to get it back
work on decluttering the house and finding a few things I need

LTM, I am READY! SO excited to see you all - the pile in the staging area is growing daily. I dunno how much work I'll get done, but my jaw will prolly get plenty of exercise, one way or the other
