It's THURSDAY!! WOOHOOOOO!!! My favorite day of the week. . .and I'm down to single digit WORKING days before WDW! YAY!

I didn't get much done yesterday besides work on bubbles, so I need to really try to get to the rest of my list today:

1. Up
2. Caffeinate
3. Pick up living room/kitchen
4. Pack lunches
5. DS up
6. DS to mom's
7. Stuff to mom's
8. Work--more flippin' bubbles!
9. Pick up DS
10. Try to work on Christmas cards
11. Drop IL's car off at airport
12. DH--change out cat litter
13. Pack for weekend (if we're going. . .might be too cold)
14. Work on stuff for work
15. Start December scrapping challenge thread. . .didn't get that done on Wednesday

Oh no, is it serious, or is the car in the shop for regular maintenance. I just can't imagine being without a car for a day.

I arranged for something similiar for my MIL's funeral. I ordered lavendar roses for each of her children, and pink roses for each of the grandchildren to put on her casket graveside.

My Thursday to do list:

Put wood in the woodstove
Put Mt Washmore AWAY!! I have had piles that needed to be put away for days.
Fill humidifiers
Feed kitty
Write in DD's communication book
Get DD up and ready for school

Wash car. Birds have been dive bombing it in the parking lot at work, grrrr.

It's opening night tonight!!!!! I can't wait to see DS in the show. He finished shaving his legs last night, but would not cooperate with pictures. He let me take a picture of a not shaved leg and a shaved leg, but refused to allow me to take one of him actually shaving it and said that these pictures cannot go in a scrapbook. He's such a party pooper!!!!

Meet DH for dinner

Oh, and yesterday I was checking out the American Girl section at Michaels and they have a really cute 12x12 (and 8x8) paper pad. I was tempted to buy it even though I know I couldn't use half of those papers. They have some nice craft things in that section. I hadn't looked at it before since I don't have any girls. I even bought something too! They have some frames that say "Shine" and the dot for the "I" is a star and then there's a spot at the end for a small photo. I'm going to paint, paper, and embellish them and add a photo of DS and give those as gifts to my Mom and MIL.

dinner an hour away (district Christmas party)
update swapping calendar as I have a chance(won't be home very much)

I am trying to decide if we should drain our savings down and get an almost new car or get a car that should last at least 5 years that won't cost quite as much. I need something that will make it through DH's schooling but after that if I had to have a car payment we could make it because he will have a minimum salary.

I feel like I've been beaten up (or down!) Achy and tired - ugh! Don't know if I'm getting sick, or if yesterday's nuttiness (and flu shot) just took too much out of me. Didn't sleep well at all - felt like I woke every 10 minutes!

The "supposed to" Thursday list (which might be delayed because I'm going back to bed!):

Put ribbon and tag on first pack of handmade cards (6) for hostess gift - DH needs it tomorrow morning.
Not walking dog today - windy and rainy and he HATES that. But will have to play extended games of "fetch" to keep him exercised.

Make more pupsicles for the dog - he's out of the frozen dog food plugs I put into the kong
Run dishwasher
Confirm Girl Scout tour of local print shop for later this afternoon
Homework oversight
Girl Scout troop meeting here and walking to print shop and then ice cream treat next door.
Dinner - for everyone else - pork chops
Get myself ready since I'm going out to the annual holiday party/dinner with our local Garden Club - haven't seen many of these lovely folks since the car crash and have missed them.

Thanks, everyone - your good wishes must have worked! I crashed on the sofa for an hour - and am groggy and still tired, but not achy! Thank heavens for Advils!!! But, we have much to do today (even fun stuff!) so, I've gotta get my butt in gear and out the door.

While I was sleeping, it even got beautiful and sunny! What happened to all the rain? Now, there's not a cloud in the sky and it is warmer outside than inside the house! "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas any more."
