Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need..

Becky -- thinking of you..

T-minus 11 hours and I get to pick up DS18 from our meeting place and see DD's BFF! I can't wait!! DD is still waiting for her last final that is 20 questions long and on Wednesday! We can't get DD til sometime on Friday.

Today's agenda:

make lunches x 2
send DH off to work
clean up dining room table (became catch all last night)
once over house
DS14 up
load of towels x 2 - started
DS14 to school
exercise 4 miles
type up 2 letters
scrap a few pages
go grab gas
pick up DS14
off to get DS18
home for dinner
sort laundry for tomorrow

Morning!

As some of you know, we had to put our 11 year old kitty Bea down unexpectedly yesterday afternoon. She was having breathing issues so I took her to the vet to have some tests run. The dr. found a large mass and lots of fluid in her lungs. We could have tried surgery but the cost was thousands of dollars with no guarantee, so we had her put to sleep. It was rough last night as Bea was a very vocal cat who loved to talk and tuck us into bed every night. She was more of an upstairs/nighttime cat while her sister Boodles, the downstairs/morning kitty. Gratefully, we still have Boodles with us who is healthy and well and gave us both extra love last night. However, as she was not the dominant kitty, she is certainly acting like the Queen this morning! All the warm spots Bea would chose and not let Boodles share, well Boo is sprawled out on the rug she could never lie on this morning, hahaha! Life goes on...

Today:
Morning chores
Walk
Continue to work on laundry (didn't do much yesterday)
Clean downstairs sliding glass doors
Vacuum downstairs and mop
Wipe down downstairs bath
Look for urn for Bea (we have no yard to bury her so we are having her cremated)
Run to grocery for a few items
Call handyman to get quote on fixing a piece of drywall and to paint guest bath
Pot roast for dinner

Nan - you must be getting so excited! Glad to hear DS is coming home today!

little change in my plans, need to attach the candy canes to the candy grams from our BLB fundraiser at school, the boy heading it up got overwhelmed with some extra homework.

happy to say the kids raised $77.00!
