My to do list:

Put wood in the woodstove
write in DD's communication book
get DD up and ready for school
caffeinate
mail remaining Christmas cards out
mail sympathy card out to DH's aunt.
work
call hairdresser to verify appt next week. My blackberry has it on Wednesday, my Franklin planner has it for Tues.
Pack DD's clothes for this weekend's camp.
Look for recipe for Jennifer and Holly. I haven't forgotten, ladies.

morning all!

OMG i have a zillion things on my list at both home and work and........

bubba's school just called and they have no school for a water main break. WHAT?!
it's board meeting week, so my work plate is over flowing. SNAP! and most of the stuff i have to do at home he can not be here for. SNAP again! what the heck am i supposed to do. i can't take him to work because i have presents there that i'm hiding. like all over my office. out in the open. aaaaaahhhhhh.
(throwing my fists in the air)

we finished putting the tree up last night and i had such a moment. oh boy. life.

so my list that i had written out last night is completely changed now.

ok vent warning...........

i bought this really nice frame about memories and making them and so on.
i put 3 pics in the frame of bubba and ma and hung it on my brandy new living room walls. it looked awesome. my niece came over last night and we were standing there admiring it (ok crying too!) and we walked away and the darn thing fell right off the wall and broke! are you kidding me?? i'm so bummed. why?

Cause your mama needed to get your attention and say that she's ok and you don't need to cry. That you need to remember and rejoice about her life and the fact that she loves you forever. She would want you to have the happy memories, not the sad ones.

My list is small but time consuming because I have to take the last load down to the homeless school today.
We did a total of
361 BAGS (I wish I knew how to make that bigger!), plus there was a box of miscellaneous things last week and blankets and this week we have an 3 additional bags of hygiene, toys and school supplies and my sisiter wants me to stop by her school and pip up a load of stuffed animals! You almost cant see out of the vans windows!

And the other thing is, having never been a room parent before, the lead just told me yesterday that if I havnt sent out a notice on the teachers faves I should do that. School is out on Friday! I would think parents have already decided what/if they are doing anything!
I just know that I am going to make sure that this teacher gets a teacher appreciation week that rocks!!
