The Daily Grind ~ 11/7/11

Mornin' everyone. Hope all is well since I have been offline for a few days. Things have been crazy. Lost access to our home computer and DH had to restore it from the bottom up. Not to worry, we back up everything, DH knows the photos are first to always be backed up. Anyway, we are back up and DH went ahead and got my Christmas present yesterday and bought me a laptop.

I have lots to do as DH had the computer apart and all over my scrapbook desk so I lost totally access to that as well. So, I am planning catch up today.


Today,

I will scrapbook 14 pages from MK 2008 (I am about done with that album, 27 total pages left)
take DS15 to skl early for basketball practice
DS11 to skl
pay bills
balance ckbk
see if I can find my lyric folder (if not note that DH needs to find it for project)found but DH needs to upgrade program to open them
see if I can find my senior PDA folder to copy tonight (if not DH's list)found but DH needs to upgrade program to open them.
empty dishwasher
once over on house (with no comptuer, the house got a deep cleaning!)


Ok, that's enough for today. I hope today finds everyone healthy and those who are under the weather, I hope you have a speedy recovery! Prayers and pixie dust for those in need...

Congrats on the laptop!

Darned time change had me up early. I used the time to check in online though I can't believe we're at 10 days! Single digits tomorrow!

Morgan is complaining of a sore throat and stomach ache. I think she's faking because she has a lot of a book left to read. Neither DH nor I can stay home today. I'm dosing her up with Advil. Once she gets to school, she'll be fine. She has a concert tomorrow night, so she can't stay home tomorrow.

Good Morning!

I had an amazing weekend- I went on clergy mates retreat and it was wonderful to be with people that really understand what you go through at times and can share the joys and pains. It was like when I have gotten a weekend with many of you here- we became fast friends and have a deeper friendship than many people I have physical contact with in the real world on a more frequent basis. Thank you all for the wonderful and understanding friendship.

Jennifer, good luck with Morgan and her reading. Sometimes it gets hard to read a book you really don't have any interest in.

Work is done for today, finally convinced my boss it is time for a new roof on the building! Hopefully it will be done before snow and ice season.

Had to call school about lost check Sent in last week for lunch for the month and they told Julia today that they can't find it, but I can put a stop payment on it and reissue them another. Um no, you can find the check and deposit it in her account. So frustrating.

Meeting tonight at 7pm, hope it goes smooth.

Finally back to school tomorrow - we have had all these days off due to the freak snowstorm!! School will never get out in June.
Short week too, since Friday is Veteran's Day, and, no school!!!
