Today:
Relax after the sale- I think I will do some reading and hopefully some internet surfing in the lobby.

Benefit sale at Disney was great: I spent about $200 between mom and my wants and got a tons of stuff- best buys were the 4 parks album for $7.35 and the paper kit for 2010- 2 for $2.75.

Have a great dinner tonight!!

We are gearing up for 4H Horse Expo Skills Day here. My very low back still hurts today. Standing on concrete all day most likely won't help.

will reboot laundry and dishes before I go - then gone until late afternoon.

dinner?? something easy - like hamburgers.

Everyone have a great Saturday!

Deb--I love Kathy Griffin! The funny thing is that a lot of the people my dad works with say listening to her is like listening to me talk (minus the profanity). . .not sure if that's good or not! :rotfl2:

Rebecca--that sounds AWESOME!

We did LOTS of Christmas shopping today. I lack one trip to the Disney Store and about 4 gift cards and I'm DONE! :thumbsup2

Now, it's laundry, working on Christmas gifts from Shutterfly, and the guys are gone to get us a pizza from Papa Murphys!

Deb, what a fun night you have planned. :goodvibes
Rebeccah, awesome deals!

Well my day did a total turn around. We were supposed to take DD to Special Olympics Regional Bowling games. Yesterday I felt a little lightheaded on the way home from work. One eye became blurry, all I can see was a grey blob. No change this morning. As I got into the back of the van, I didn't see the dvd monitor was down and cut my head. Started bleeding.

Mom took me to see my eye dr, all sorts of tests, he felt is was bleeding of the retna and promptly schedule me to see a retna specialist right there on the spot. We rushed to the city, more test this time with dye injected into my vein and strobing lights. I tried pretending the flashing lights were fireworks at WDW to get thru it. It is bleeding of the retna and I have to have a "procedure" on Wednesday. Not sure if the procedure will take care of the problem but I am going to remain hopeful. I am limited to only day time driving but can do all other activities, work, computer, tv, reading.

On the bright side of the day DD got second at Special Olympics.

Lisa--yay for DD!! Sending lots of prayers & pixie dust for your eye!!

:sad2: I just knew something was the matter - had the urge to telephone you all day but restrained myself. Let me know if you need me to come over a few days early to "babysit" your household for you. you poor dear:hug:

Congrats to DD on her 2nd place finish!

Wow, Lisa, that's scary. Hope the "procedure" is relatively easy.

I'm home. We've got a ton and a half of laundry to do, but I get an extra hour today, so I'm taking it slow.

We had a fabulous time! Took a million pictures (or so :) ), spent a small fortune on "stuff" but oh, how amazing. Kissed stingrays in Grand Cayman (and got a lovely sunburn on my nose), danced and laughed and sang almost every night!

It was great to be away, but I missed my cats, and my own bed. I think these memories will carry me through the winter at least.

Booked for April 2012 on the Dream. 4 night Bahamas during April vacation. Gotta start planning now!

Missed you all! Hope everyone is healthy and happy.

Jen glad you had such a wonderful time..

Lisa prayers for you and yay for DD

I was mia yesterday after the meeting i tried to get on the boards but was sooo tired I'd fall asleep trying to read. finally just gave up and went to bed.

hunting season has been a bust so far they saw one and L got a shot off but must have missed cause there was no sign of anything and Tom is an unbelievable tracker so if there had been any trace he would have found it.

think I'm going back to bed. Have a great day all

Welcome Home Jen! can't wait to hear more and see some pics!

Too bad on the hunting, hopefully next time!

Lisa hope your feeling better today, more pixie dust coming.....

had a fun time with our friends last night, her hubby even came and stayed for away...he is a bit unsocial at times...boys were crazy as always, they wear us out!

Lisa, congratulations to your DD!!! That's awesome!!! Sorry about your eye. I hope all goes well on Wednesday.

Rebecca, you got some great deals!

Jen, I'm glad you had a great trip!
