~The Daily Grind~ 11/30/09

Holly I feel you pain litertally. I have the headache for you. Hope you're all feeling beter this am.

PO3: DH is fine... well, minus the fact that we are in the waiting game on Gramps. DH being fine is just the fact that he is dealing with this the best he can. As of this morning things are still touch and go... :( Grams is home trying to rest and get things taken care of. She has called DH at work twice so far.. She said she just needs to hear his voice and it's a promise that she will be okay. They did tell Grams today that Gramps would not leave the hospital.

so sorry to hear that Nan. all my love and hugs to them. i KNOW how they feel.

Thanks for the info Pam, I think I'll check it out. Princess would love that ;)

Nan, I'll keep my fingers crossed for Gramps to be comfortable. I'm sorry DH (and all of you!) are having to go through this. Hugs.

Hugs Nancy. Prayers being sent up for him and grams and of course your family.

My internet is having issues so I may be mia for a fer days. first the phone now it I HATE fairpoint!!!!!!!

PrincessM is having her first H1N1 shot tomorrow night. She'll need a "booster" in January. Here's hoping it's not a madhouse (they are doing a clinic at one of the schools for all the kids 3-9 - with proof of residence) tomorrow night, and that they have actually set aside enough for the booster in January (not always the brightest bulbs around there).

Are they offering the mist? The clinics did in CT for kids her age.

He had a terrible asthma attack last night

Poor Bubba, how is he feeling now? Better I hope.

We've sent our Christmas cards/letters using a fun holiday postmark for the past four or five years.

You should come down to Bethlehem, CT. :)

They did tell Grams today that Gramps would not leave the hospital.

Oh, Nancy, I am so sorry. Wish Princess J good luck tomorrow. Don't forget the camera!!!

It's another manic Monday.

DH was off today because the state where his warehouse is located, it is the first day of hunting season. So he gets it off in CT too! :confused3 Most of my morning chores he will take care of for me.

Go into work early
caffeinate
Report lost garage pass :headache:
Call DH dr.
Get Rockette tickets for next week :dance3::dance3:
Take to Mom
Stop at pharmacy to review DD's meds and double check that none are not processed thru the liver. DD's blood work liver enzymes came back high again. Turns out the last new med the dr prescribed goes thru the compromise liver pathway. :scared:
Dinner - Homemade mac n cheese that I made yesterday
Take DD to swim class
Supervise tubby time
Watch Castle

thanks Lisa. he is. BUT this is his time of year to have them ALL the time. it stinks.
have a mention before that i HATE asthma?:confused3

did you make homemade mac and cheese? 'cause i love homemade kind. ma made it with tomatos. oh yummy! i'd love to make it for one of your crops for you to take home because it's way better hot!

No, my insider on the school committee says they are doing the shot for all the clinics. That's fine, because she had the seasonal flu mist on the 5th of November, so she couldn't have the H1N1 mist until 30 days after that. I just hope they are smart enough to say "x number of kids got the first shot, so lets put x number of shots aside for January" and not use them all at other clinics. Not always the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree organizing these things. ;)
