Meds and bed - but put Patriots game on TV, with "sleep" function

Addition: Strangle any member of the household who put a load of their wash in, start the washer, and then leave to go to college classes...! Well, maybe instead of strangling, I should charge her a "move your wet crap to the dryer" fee...??

Pam can you PM me the deets on the *special* postmark?

PrincessM is having her first H1N1 shot tomorrow night. She'll need a "booster" in January. Here's hoping it's not a madhouse (they are doing a clinic at one of the schools for all the kids 3-9 - with proof of residence) tomorrow night, and that they have actually set aside enough for the booster in January (not always the brightest bulbs around there).

morning ladies!

ok i've got to keep up here.

Nan-what's up with your dh? not feeling well? can I do anything?

Pam-funny you should say that about the address for the special postmark. I was on here yesterday looking for one. i thought someone had posted it last year. Can you please send it to me as well.

So i have a list a mile long and can't get my butt into gear to get it done. Bubba was up ALL night last night. He had a terrible asthma attack last night and dh came running out of bubbas room to find his puffer and i came running in the room with the puffer and we clunked heads! Oh boy! bubba cant breath we are seeing stars. Good grief!

I need a nap about now.

Pam can you PM me the deets on the *special* postmark?

Here's the info - didn't send a PM, as *maybe* others could use the info. There's a link below. (This is just one site, though, you could also google "Christmas card postmarks" for other similar sites and lists...)

We've sent our Christmas cards/letters using a fun holiday postmark for the past four or five years. The kids take turns choosing which city or town they'll be sent from and it is DD12's turn this time. She made a fun choice! For the first two years we did this, we chose North Pole, Alaska. Some recipients noticed, but my guess is that most didn't....at first. Now, we've branched out a bit to include new locations.

We seal and stamp all the filled and addressed envelopes, then mail them all in one flat rate box to the Postmaster of the post office we've chosen. There, they postmark each envelope from the cool place (some, but not all, have a decorative cancellation mark) and they go out from there. Doing this "double-mailing" thing usually adds about 3-5 days to the envelopes' delivery time, which is why we mail early. We also mail an envelope to ourselves, so that we see what the postmark looks like and also know when the envelopes are being delivered. (And yes, I've finally started scrapbooking the envelopes, along with our Christmas letters and kids' annual Xmas photos!)

Hope this helps you, MM and any others who want to do this! Let me know if you need more info -
