 Good Morning! Wow! I can't believe we are halfway through this week!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Rebecca, been thinking of you and wishing you the best. Please let us know if you need anything.
Christy, hope things are better with the "thorn" in your side.. So, what did the ER say? Anything up him being a nut?

Everyone else, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Today:

finish my list that I wrote from last night

Morning all

been to school and helped cook for 85 kids this am. We are in the NECAP testing and Eric's team does full breakfast for them It was alot of fun

Nan thorn in my side we think has been admitted he's so good at faking and whinning that he always ends up admitted. Since Tom wont complain to them that he's a liar and PIA they keep doing it. I have to wonder if he wants to die now that he knows we really aren't going along with it. I think the ones who used to bring him to church no longer do and I know the one who used to bring him home from the center told him no more unless he started paying him. I think 95% of the people have finally figured him out. Tom's already said we are spending nothing on a funeral for him.

So left for my day is
2 more loads of laundry
remove AC units (*now flurries tonight!!!)
finish finding my bedroom
clean off stairs (again) this is like the kitchen table

make boys and tom winter prep list this will mostly fall on the boys as tom is moving round bales home.

Have a great day all

Oh my word Christy, he has NOT changed at all... Yes, he defintely has been burning bridges.. but I'm sure Tom keeps telling himself "it's my dad, I'm supposed to do this"...but he has to put his foot down soon.. I'm sure he is torn..but you are strong by not saying anything at this point and letting him handle it.. (even though I'm sure you'd rather just call the thorn out and rightfully so).

Good luck with the winter list and the boys getting some of it tonight.. Sorry to hear you are going to see some of that crazy stuff falling from the sky tonight...

Good morning
at least I hope it is good
boys were alittle on the fussy side this morning
I"m about to head to work
I finally started cutting Dumbo paper piecing - still have more to cut but at least I started so hopefully my scrapping mojo will kick back in

boys have horseback riding this afternoon
not sure about supper - I know I need to use squash & rashies

Chirstly - hope things get better for you (snow?? already?? crazy but I guess you get alot more than I do which doesn't take much) good luck on getting everything winterized
Nan - good luck with the list - I should make me a better one

Nan I know that's exactly what he is doing. His mother told him as she was dying that he didn't need to take care of his father at all. That's pretty harsh when you sit and think about it. I just wish she'd told what she knew, I think the wondering really kills tom. I also know the library stuff is emotionally taking a toll on him. He can't talk about it with out choking up. I'm hoping we are still on the uphill swing with that.

Winter is sneaking in faster than normal and the farmers almanac says we are in for a COLD and snowy one. Nice part of my job is if the schools close we close so I can stay in!!! the white stuff doesn't really bother me but I wish it would wait at least another month. There's so much that needs to be picked up and packed up, I need another building to put it all in! Tom put dry round bales in one of the leanto's that we usually put the lawn mowers and stuff in.

 Christy! I'm sorry you have to deal with this.

I'm working today. Going to grab something from a drive-thru for dinner, girl scout meeting at 6:00, so it's got to be quick.

Rainy and dreary today, wish I could have stayed home and read!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Afternoon! We arrived back from the Great White North yesterday afternoon, had an incredible time! The foliage was just starting to peak, brilliant colors with temps in the 50's during the day and 30's at night. Oktoberfest was great fun and we celebrated our first Canadian Thanksgiving on Monday with dear friends...

Rebecca - I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, thinking of you and your family during this difiicult time...

Nan - glad to hear DD LOVES college! It is such a special independent time in life :).

Today:
unpack - DONE
laundry
grocery shop - DONE
water plants
download pictures to shutterfly and order copies
vacuum - why aren't the cats naked? There are enough fur balls around the house to knit us all a sweater!

Hope to do some scrapping in the next day or two. On the road again next Friday, this time to Atlanta for a week.

Becky

Afternoon all!

Prayers and pixie dust to all those in need.

Christy, so sorry to hear that your FIL is not behaving, at least others are beginning to see his true colors. Hope you don't get much of the white stuff!
Becky, glad you had a great trip!
Rebecca, still sending thoughts and prayers your way.

Need to get dinner in the oven, Julia to CCD and me to visiting hours for a friend's FIL who passed. Then hem dress for niece's homecoming.

Hope everyone is enjoying today!
