Well, my girl is still not feeling well. So, she's staying home with me today. She's going to have to do a few errands with me. I think she'll be okay for a ride or two.

I need to put a few things in the cupboard, they are saying lots and lots of the white stuff here. Sigh, it is January in Massachusetts.

1. off to school - long day with Prof Dev
2. get snowblower to the front of the garage
3. hunker down for what they're saying is a "monster storm" - predicting a foot
4. thinking that school may well be cancelled tomorrow

Means some scrapping is in the picture for tomorrow!!

I so would love tomorrow off can we just cancel it tonight so no phone call at 5:30am when i've already gotten up would be really nice.

I'd like a nap in there somewhere but don't see it happening

Today:

Sn*w falling still started about 4AM... Kids went to school on time but next county over is closed! Not but about 2" on the ground... However, the infinite wisdom of our plow crew amazed me again this morning.. sent the salt truck down the road.. great... immediately followed by the PLOW! So where is the salt now?? In a pile next to the road.. Doing a world of good their boys! Needless to say, I emailed my town council member to complain!

Today:
work on some scrap pages
load of towels
keep eye on my dad's flights back to IN (FLA - MI- IN)
keep eye on weather; DD has her college class she has to drive too (luckily DH is home so she has the AWD vehicle instead of the truck)
scrape my van and pick up kids
see what the day brings practices? flight arrival time?

Day 2 of being snowed in!
All the neighborhood roads are still covered with ice-I don't see school happening tomorrow either. Kids are getting bored but at least we still have power. Going to venture out farther in the neighborhood with the sled today.

day has gone from just ugh to argh!!! dingbat dh has managed to lose my debit card. of all places he thinks in the barn yard!!! course he hasn't found it to be sure so I canceled that and have to wait the 7-10 days for the new one. argh would like to kill him! but guess it could be worse. and the up side is he had to pay for the gas in my truck this week where I would have had to do double gas his and mine!!

select paper for DD's Valentine's cards
put a load of whites into the wash
write in DD's communication book
Get DD up and ready for school. Unfortunately, DD had a seizure this morning which delayed school and work
work
caffeinate
lunch with DH
check if van is ready for pickup, went in for brakes but only needed rotors.
drop off CM to customer
take furbaby dawg for a walk
dinner
take DD to Special Olympic swim
home to message there is no work tomorrow I see a scrapping day in my future.
