Well I believe that it is certainly plausable. If suddenly evidence came out that did everything but prove that Jesus and Mary Magdelene were married and had a child, I wouldn't have that hard a time believing it. Remember Jesus was born Jewish, and at least back then, it was frowned upon if a Jewish man wasn't married and had a child by the age 20.goofyandplutoluver said:My mom read the book. I wanna see the movie. She said the Da Vinci Code is that Jesus didnt die for us(which he did) that he married Mary Madgolin(sp), and had children and traces of Jesus on still on earth. But that isnt true.
Same for me. I don't think any of it is true.polysisterchick said:there is a possibility that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene, we just don't know. The bible doesn't tell us much about his personal life so we can't make assumptions.
it's a good fictional book. i don't believe it (the book) is the total truth tho

I don't really believe that Jesus married and had children, it wasn't what He was on Earth to do in my eyes. If He did, then He did, it doesn't diminish His message at all. But we don't know, that's why this is a fictional book, not fact.
