Seriously, the tropics are nuts right now! We were thinking about going to S FL this weekend, but there is no way I'll leave my dog and kitties if there is a possibility bad weather could be close to our house. So I definitely understand how you wouldn't want to leave Ally behind! Here's some more for you in hopes that the storms will STAY AWAY and you'll have fabulous weather for your trip.

DisneyJen, that's so scary about the tornado! That is a big fear of mine! Here's to Hanna staying off all of our coasts and curving back out to sea!

OK, seriously, is the ATlantic this active every year? I'm watching not one, not two, but THREE systems that could all be heading our way!!!!

Not in the three years that we've been here!

But she is trying to schedule us at all four parks in 2 days! She wants AK for EE, MK for all three mountains, DHS for ToT and RnRC (if she hits 48" by then....), and Epcot for TT.

Good girl!

AND I have two more DISmeets scheduled for that trip!

Seriously, do you head over to Disney a lot? My hubby and I have a DISmeet scheduled at DTD in September (he's thrilled, as I'm sure you can understand.... ) and I have two scheduled in November!!! One of them is eating at 1900PF the exact same time as Ally and I! How fun is that!

I think we're gonna try to head down for either one night, or just a day trip to see the Christmas lights this year! We should definitely try to hook up!!!

Whatever Cammie says. But who am I to say? I've never met her!!! She did promise me that she's not a hatchet wielding weirdo though, only because she can't get her hatchet on the plane with the airline regulations!!!

Although I have spoken to Cammie and she is not THAT weird - at least no weirder than the rest of us DIS freaks!

Cammie - we seriously need to consider WHEN we are meeting! Remember, I'm only there Friday late afternoon until Sunday afternoon. And we have 1900 Park Fare on Saturday evening!

Stay safe! If it goes up to you, hopefully you'll have the west side. I heard a meteorologist this morning say the hurricane hunters hardly found any winds on the west side of the storm at 5am. He also said he wouldn't be surprised if Hanna broke up altogether.

I updated my Hurricane Kit this weekend - I added some X-Fusion liquor, triple sec, you know.... the essentials!!!

Stay safe! If it goes up to you, hopefully you'll have the west side. I heard a meteorologist this morning say the hurricane hunters hardly found any winds on the west side of the storm at 5am. He also said he wouldn't be surprised if Hanna broke up altogether.

Yeah, I also read this morning that the western side of this storm is barely even producing winds. Just so long as she stays off the coast we should be okay...

Ike looks like he'll head into the gulf, and I saw that Josephine is heading into cooler waters, so she may be nothing. I can only hope!

Hurricane/tornado provisions/kit all up to date ... and I now see that Hanna is forecasted in the majority of the computer models to be more to the east of us

Maybe she will stay out on the Atlantic and not make landfall at all.

I saw on the Weather Channel this morning that some forecasters are saying that we could see 10 more named storms before the end of the season

Isn't it December yet?
