For atmosphere definitely CA Grill or Flying Fish or Jiko, but if you want to go for strictly meat and potatoes--Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Do the Punkin413 method of purchasing a Disney Gift Card and using that for meals...it's kinda like the DDP, but you get to choose what you want to eat each meal....

I need to really sit down and see what is going to be more cost effective... I was already thinking about if it would be better to not do the dining plan... Of course if they end up offering free dining at all, I think I will have to really look at options because we arrive the day after Thanksgiving and I am sure the discounts won't start until that Sunday...

With Terry on graveyard, I try and keep the house VERY quiet when he is sleeping, so I may be able to get a jump start on it...

We're moving back from Crapastan in August, to Beaverton. I think we'll live there in a temp. house for about 6 months, then get to Salem by Feb. or March of next year. So about a year from now. Could be longer could be shorter- depends on if we can sell our little rental in Portland quickly. That's our downpayment for Dad's house on the river.

But, we'll be having a Northwesterer's Meet long before that, I surmise!

Ahhhh thanks it was a lot of fun meeting up last year we will have to meet up again somehow!


OMG!!! I just about choked when I read that..... That is the greatest movie EVER!!! I am very excited to meet up this year... Sucks that we missed each other last year and we could have seen each other from our windows

Hey there I saw your tenative ADR's for WDW and I just wanted to give my 2 cents, So I'm juss sayin...we ate breakfast at Kona cafe and I really wasnt impressed. But thats just my opinion.

Ohhhh I really want to do Hoop DeDoo Review. I'm thinking about trying to convince my sister to go later this year or one of my good friends hey just under $600 each for hotel n tix isnt bad at all! Merry Christmas to me I say! Well I guess I have to wait n see...

I had the Tonga toast and it just wasnt what I expected. I wasnt a big fan of the stawberry puree stuff they give you for syrup. I think I barely ate 1/4 of it but Ian had the Big Kahuna Breakfast and liked it but then again give him eggs n pancakes n he's happy. The bacon was G-R-O-S-S But you guys may like the Tonga Toast, everyone has different taste buds.

WDW will be a stretch although my niece really wanted to take her daughter at that time of the year. I see where he is coming from... I used to think that way, but last year's trip was so much fun to plan... I really enjoyed making a PTR... I loved talking to other people and getting ideas from other people... It really gets me geared up and excited... I bet if he was to get into reading a few good TR's, he would be hooked! I was...
