The coolest thing, for locating kids that get away from you

I just saw the coolest gadjet on tv ( on foxnews). is a kid locator. the kids wear a watch like device & you carry a locator gadjet. it will locate up to 4 kids & 400ft away. (they are working on technology for further distances)

I am posting this since there has been several post son the disboards about people worrying that their kids may get lost, ( you know kids,, look away & poof ).
anyway I thought this might be something some of you might be interested in!

they were also showing wrist type radios, like the type you carry around to call each other in the parks. (matches frequencys you already have on your family radios)

How did we all ever survive childhood without all this stuff? And how did I raise my two who are in college now? They're selling a product based on parents fears.

I dunno

each halloween I think of how it was for 'me' as a kid... trick-or-treating had no preset hours ,, we went out at dusk & stayed out past midnight,, as long as people handed out candy,, kids were out.. we also never had to worry about unsafe candy or kidnapping........
*sigh*

plus it WAS on halloween ( ok grumble of mine,, why have it the day before in the afternoon,,,,, drivers know when halloween is,, not driving in stupid citys who change the date.) ( & what is this only 1 1/2 hours,, sheesh can't get much candy in that time!)
