I'm listening now and I'm really surprised. I have been wondering what you all eat (besides the goodies that get sent to you) I'm in Missouri and it's hot (at least it is to me) We're having 90 something days with 70% humidity. Most everyone I know around here agrees that it's too hot to cook or eat hot foods. No one wants to turn on the oven or stand over a hot stove.
We're eating light and cool or cold foods like pasta salads, or sandwiches. We'll eat all kinds of variations of chefs salads. If we eat something hot it's BBQ offset with potato salad and slaw.
So I was surprised to hear shepherds pie, stuffed bell peppers, soup, roasting veggies, etc. Do you cook and eat this way year round?
Other southerner's feel free to add your thoughts as well.
