Yeah!! Did anyone else get their cookies yet?? The little Brownie scout that lives next door just dropped off our 5 boxes of cookies. It turns out that I didn't order any Thin Mints (because I always eat them right away). DD12 tore into a box right away...of course, dinner is in a 1/2 hour.

My DD just finished selling the "fall" cookies. They're chocolate wafer, with mint cream and coated in chocolate.

In the spring, the girls sell the traditional boxes of 1/2 vanilla and 1/2 chocolate cookies.

Is this just a Canadian thing?

Could be. I know around here we sell in January, deliver in February. I live in Kentucky, but work in Ohio, and the girls have different suppliers and somewhat different types of cookies.

We also do a nut/candy sale in the fall, but no cookies until January.

Same here. The sweetpea starts taking orders at the end of January and they are delivered begining of March.

We start in Jan and get them in Feb/March. Right now we just finished selling Nuts and chocolate. In 2 weeks we have a nut booth at the train station to sell some more.

I cant wait for cookies. We do nuts in the fall and cookies towards the spring. Thankfully hubby has a co-worked in a different county and they are doing cookeis now.. we ordered a bunch...
