The Contemporary Was Forgotten

I was looking through my Frommer's Florida Guide 2004. The guide also covers WDW and their hotels. They completely left out The Contemporary Resort. There is no mention of it in their reviews of the WDW hotels and it isnt even listed on their map of WDW. You would think the editors would have caught this before it went to press. Weird!

My goodness. How sad. I love the Contemporary, and it has one of the finest restaurants on property, too. I hope the 2005 edition at least listed the resort.

I've noticed the strangest mistakes in the Disney travel guide books. My latest edition of Birnbaum's "official" guide to WDW listed the beaches & Cream restaurant (the one in the yacht & beach club) as being replaced by Beachclub marketplace. I found out from this board that the marketplace already exists and has nothing to do with beaches and cream, which is still alive and well. You'd think being the "Official" guide they'd check their sources!!

I noticed in an edition of Birnbaum's that they think that Big River Grille serves Lobster Pot Pie, so when I was there in 02, I asked, because I love that kind of thing, and they said, no they don't. Weird or what?
