On the formula subject. I BF'd my first for a long time, but that first night home from the hospital (Christmas), when she'd been screaming for over and hour and we were both recovering from the flu (and me delivery), that goodie bag saved our lives! She was hungry... I wasn't what she wanted right then. I thank God someone handed me that bag because we had no formula in the house.

And I went toxic after DD was born. Had to go back in the hospital.

Who was gonna breastfeed her?

Congrats to all of you with new babies! My "babies" are 22 and 15. Five years ago we got a puppy so I would have a new baby. They don't smell as good as babies!

My sistah is a Feb baby

She will be in Disney next Tues in a hurricane.

I'm laughing a sisterly laugh because she's been rubbing it in my face for the past 6 months!!!

And she has 2 kids under 5!

I thank her for me being here!

I've got one better for you! I didn't breastfeed BECAUSE I DIDN'T WANT TO! I tried with my first, but I was just miserable. The day we used that free formula that was kindly given by the hospital was the best. I almost cried in relief!

That is tomorrow nights plan! Tonight DD had a soccer game and just wanted to come home and watch a movie. (Princess Diaries 2) Fine by me cause if I showed up at church I'd end up working some booth anyway. So tonight I'll hang put with my Dis buddies in my PJ's.

When I returned to work outside the house (I'm now a WAHM), I pumped and dh gave him that. But he is such a voracious eater that he had to supplement with formula.
He's still nursing but does eat fruits, veggies, and baby food.

I wonder what the nipple signal looks like? And perhaps, instead of obatman, we can have SuperPalin help us.

A kindred spirit, I have found!!! I breastfed my first two for about 2 months (2 months of unadulterated hell, with failure to thrive, not enough milk production, juandiced and SCREAMING kids). I wised up with my last one, no real nipple for him!! A rubber one was the only thing his lips touched!
