Actually, I was thinking about going on all of the anti-Palin threads and posting "You know, basic decorum suggests that you should be more respectful of the next vice president of the United States." I don't know, do you think it will make them mad?

They were apparently offending some Dis'ers. Even though they where innocent!

I also needed to put my new blinkie in. Apparently some 'group' (not really sure) are trying to take baby formula out of the goody bags in hospitals. They apparently feel that mothers can't possibly think for themselves. We may be swayed by big formula companies!Sample baby formula is now being compared to Big Macs.

Hey! Has it been busy on here over the summer? A lot of people (IRL) seemed to take an “election break” over the summer, but now, of course, things have heated right back up. I’m really looking forward to the first set of debates at the end of this month.

I took a self-imposed break over the summer too. If things keep happening as fast and furious as they have the last week or two, I'm going to need another break before we even get to November!

I hope our joking about your pug babies didn't make you take them down! I thought they were cute!

On the formula subject. I BF'd my first for a long time, but that first night home from the hospital (Christmas), when she'd been screaming for over and hour and we were both recovering from the flu (and me delivery), that goodie bag saved our lives! She was hungry... I wasn't what she wanted right then. I thank God someone handed me that bag because we had no formula in the house.
