two things I'm very curious about...

IF Biden were to "drop out"...what are the legal/election rules concerning a second choice for a VP once the DNC has officially nominated someone? I admit I am clueless about the rules and regulations for elections, and I cant ever think of a time where this has ever happened, so as far as I know there is no precident. Can Obama just pick someone else even though the DNC has already done the whole nomination process for Biden?

Secondly...this whole issue of sex education that Obama claims is a lie (re: McCain's new ad)...have any of you READ the specifics of the curriculum that Obama voted to add? I'm sorry but there is not a snowball's chance in HELL that my kindergartner would be allowed to get that lesson in school. My 10 yr old wouldn't even be allowed. I'm not going to send my child to school where they tell a 5 yr old the clinical description of how a baby is made, that ************ should be done in private, that homosexuality is normal, and that it feels good to be touched in certain places.

Call me closed minded, homophobic, whatever you want. I could care less, but no way, no how is that appropriate for a 5 yr old, NOR does any of that perpetuate education to stop or recognize sexual predatory activity.

Good grief when will people wake up and pay attention to what this man is about? Wonder how he'd feel if some teacher was telling HIS youngest daughter that it feels good to be touched in places your bathing suit covers, and that she should feel ok if she is attracted to another girl....

You literally took the words out of my mouth. This whole sex ed thing is just unbelievable!! NO WAY - NOT EVER would my kindergartner or any of my kids in elementary school be sitting in on a lesson like this!!!!! Some things should be left to a PARENT to teach their child when THEY think THEIR child is ready!

When will people wake up and pay attention to what this man is about? How can they when rest of the world is just jumping for joy and begging the US citizins to vote for good old BO. Hell...the Russians love him. Wonder why....

From what DH read today, Biden would have to resign from the nominated postion then congress would pick a replacement for Obama, he doesn't get to pick. But with a Democrat congress, we all KNOW they'd pick Clinton.

I'll see if I can find it posted on the net somewhere, but Rush was reading the actual piece of illinois legislation on his show. Originally the bill was written for 6-12th graders, and Obama sponsored the change to specifically include kindergarten at a "level 1" curriculum, which includes those specifics I stated.

Hannity and Colmes is on at the moment, and they also just read the same legislation a short while ago on their show.

well, I can find the ORIGINAL legislative bill, but the updates on it stop in 2005, and the changes Obama voted for were done after the last posted ammendment, so so far I cannot find it posted verbatim online. I'm looking on the Illinois General Assembly website.

Anyone else care to try and see if they can find it? I believe it is SB0009 if I am not mistaken.

Now that is interesting. If congress picked Hillary that would really put the pressure on her to bail Obama. I wonder how that would play out. I don't know. I just don't see Hillary stepping in willingly at this point in the game. She was smeared by Obama's camp. Not chosen as a first pick and second pick isn't coming from his lips either. Crazy.
