I thought I had a strong stomach, so I ventured over to the Democrat thread. It made me gag anyways. They all think that if we have Sarah on the ticket in 2012, the electoral map will be all blue. Those Dems are a funny bunch, aren't they?

whatever you do, don't name him Rowdy [or another active sort of name] - my Rowdy was named that when I met him at the shelter. Awww, I said - that's so cute! Little did I know just how Rowdy he would get...big and rowdy - a bad combination...


And yes, we are jumping lots of guns in deciding who will run in 2012 -- heck, I'm not even sure what I'm wearing to church tomorrow!

I love the idea of standing behind someone - and not reading our own bad press, hence our defense of SP. Fight back, and remember, stupid RNC - a house divided cannot stand. So build a house we can be undivided about!

I understand being happy that their candidate won, but seriously... he's a senator (and not a particularly good one at that)! He's not God! I feel like screaming that at some people!

I've never read their thread. Most of the OS I've come across in cyberspace have been the nastiest people. Why subject yourself to that?

I do like to keep up with what they're doing and thinking. I'm actually looking forward to what they say when the Obammessiah doesn't keep up with all his campaign promises.

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. The majority of the Bots will never admit when he fouls up. They will just come up with excuse after excuse. Starting with IT'S ALL BUSH'S FAULT!

2) did he really promise x? no, it was y he promised - you silly mortals must have misunderstood your dear leader!
3) it's all Bush's fault

Yes, I think you really on the right track here. And you know, each of these people has their own area of experitise...so even if they aren't on the top of the ticket, they may be good for another position. Like I've said before, I'm excited that we have some good people coming up.

I am too! Although, I know Pawlenty's name is being bandied about by some as a potential nominee in 2012. And while I'm sure he's a very nice man... The guy comes across like he has the personality of a house plant. I've listened to him give a lot of speeches, and he makes McCain look like an energetic teenager. Not my idea of a new, fresh face. I was horrified that he might've been the VP nominee. No offense to those who like him, of course. He's just not my cup of conservative tea.

I'd like to think that all the folks who voted for him weren't necessarily Obots -- just stupid enough to believe he was conservative. I'd like to think that, when he, say, flips off a major world leader and starts absolute chaos, that the stupid ones might buy a clue and get him out of office in 2012.
