Alex: Alex pouted her bottom lip and crossed her arms. "Dang it," She muttered thinking about what he could have possibly wished for.

Toby: "sorry" Toby said shrugging and smiling. He was glad to have finally found a good friend. At his other school he did have friends but no one he actually trusted, and nobody he could talk to as easily as he could with Alex.

OOC: Im posting from my phone right now, just wanted to give you guys a heads up, posting will be rare, if I dont go on a temporary hiatus, becayse I've been banned from my computer for an unknowm amount of time. If someone wants to post for Daniel and Maxine to keep the story going, thats okay, just stick to their characters and dont do anything drastic like kill off their family, no matter how much you might hate Maxs dad, lol. Need him for later.

Also, even though I probably wont be posting I will be working on the story, so Im not completely abandoning you. And think of ideas for codenames for your characters. Not saying we will use them but this is a school for powers and it is a possibility so might as well be prepared.

Alex: Alex giggled and shook her head,"Trust me, I think mine was pretty dumb." She stood up and stretched her arms above her head. She looked up at her hands in the air and frowned saying randomly,"Why am I so short?"

The mother had her arm around her daughters waist on the left, the daughter was in the middle, and the father had his arm around his daughters shoulder. The girl laughed at something her father said who was smiling at both of his girls and Alex couldn't help but look at the family sadly.

Toby: Toby watched Alex as her expression changed, and followed her gaze to the family. His expression changed too, he felt sad for Alex. He couldn't imagine what it had to be like to constantly see families and not have one of your own. "Alex." he said quietly and kindly "you okay?"

Alex: Alex tore her eyes from the family as she saw the mother kiss her daughters cheek feeling the tears prick her eyes. She blinked her eyes a couple times getting rid of most of the tears and looked up at Toby putting on a small fake smile. She was about to say she was fine when she found she didn't like lying anymore, especially to someone who was one of her closest friends. Alex dropped her smile and shook her head sighing,"I guess."

She was about to say she was fine when she found she didn't like lying anymore, especially to someone who was one of her closest friends. Alex dropped her smile and shook her head sighing,"I guess."

Toby: Without thinking about it Toby reached out and wrapped his arms around Alex. He didn't normally hug people, but he didn't like seeing Alex upset. "it's okay to be upset Alex, it's really okay" he whispered into her ear as he hugged her tightly.

No one wanted to be friends with the freak, the other orphans were afraid if me, no boys had a crush on the girl who set things on fire of she was angry, my own parents didn't even want me." She took a deep breath and closed her eyes saying even quieter,"Is there something wrong with me? I know I have powers but is there something else?" Alex didn't mean to let all that out but she never had the chance to talk about how she felt.

Alex: Alex sighed and nodded her head saying,"Thanks Toby, you're truly a great friend." She gave him a small smile and leaned back wiping under her eyes chuckling. "I must look really dumb, huh?" She joked.
