I remember the one year living in PA where it snowed on Halloween. I can remember shoveling the sidewalk for the kids.

Hi: It was in the 50's today in St. Louis County. It will be in the low 60's
tomorrow and did I memtion I was golfing tomorrow. I should have waited
until Thursday when it will be 70. Oh well. Hope to see a lot of you in
Dec. and/or on the cruise.

Wow, that is pretty funny. I have no idea why. Maybe it just reminds me of Colorado.

Is it true that the colder it is, the less chance of the pumpkins rotting? I might be able to persuade my roommate to buy a pumpkin if that's the case.

Eh, the Pacific NW is OK. It's green... Sometimes though I long for other colors. We get that goofy slushy snow that has a layer of ice under it, so winter is really not fun. Just not looking forward to it. We never had a summer, it was like we went from Winter to Spring and back to Winter again... I want my summer!!!!!!!!!! Give me summer! There is no Global Warming, only global freezing. Oh boy, time to look like the Michelin Man!

we had snow all last night year in the UK its soo cold its about 35 here this morning, dh is outside scrapping off the cars, so florida still sound slike a tropical paradise compared!!!

I would think that is true - even if it isn't, go with it so you can get a pumpkin!
