Tomorrow going to breakfast with gal pal then we are hitting the seasonal arts and craft shows. One is called Brushy Creek. Good. Just relaxing and watching Brittish Comedy on BBC America. I've got to get up early and greet at church tommorrow.

It's fun making first time visitors feel at home.

DH came home and it's starting to get very windy here along with it raining.

Have you ever tasted Thai food before? My DH is going to be making me Pad Thai tonight so I can't wait to eat it.

I think I had Thai food once---I had tried Vietnamese food last year. It was pretty good.

The most popular vietnamese foods here is pho which is the noodle soup and summer rolls.

I had Vietnamese style pork barbeque with summer rolls, greens and Fish Sauce. Very good.

The Greens had a licorice taste to them. Interesting.

I don't remember. I think it was anise (spelled correctly?), the plant that licorice is extracted from.

Never tried that before. The types of veggies that usually come out here are long beans, mint, thai basil, chilies, and lemon.

Wow, this thread is hard to get updated. NC Beast likes to use the stationary bike and walking.

PD for NC Beast this week---he was rear-end this week and has a cervical strain. He has lost at least 25 lbs.+ so far.

We hope that everyone had a good week.

Our weekend plans--NC Beast is to take it easy.
