Well,My PA just called. My blood tests(genotype) have shown that i have developed an immunity to some of my meds..They will have to change my meds next week.I'm glad in a way because these meds make me sick,on the other hand who knows what the new ones will do.

Lousy lousy day for me. Had another dose of the test meds and they make me pretty sick. I could use all the you can spare.

Hey all! Just found this thread again and thought I'd see how everyone is doing. Jenny, saw your message; glad your new meds are working for you!

I've been going thru a bad patch with my peripheral neuropathy lately, so my Dr. sent me to see a neurologist today. She did note some problems in one hand and both feet and legs, and so she set up an appointment for me to have an EMG and NCS done. I'll have the tests done in 3 weeks, and see the neurologist again the next week to go over the results. Meantime, she wants me to up my dosage of neurontin to see if that helps any...oh goody, more meds!

How's everyone else doing???

I seem to get the neuropathy in my hands,which is not as common..My hand and arm hurt pretty badly a lot of the time.

Yeah, but I'm not on any of the meds that are in the combo pill, and the meds I'm on are keeping my viral load undetectable and my T-cells up, so I don't want to risk changing them for no reason. It's just that, with the 3 HIV meds, and the 3 blood pressure meds, 2 cholesterol meds, 2 GERD meds, 1 allergy med, 1 pain med, and the vitamins and supplements, I'm amazed I have any room left for food!
