Mine were always soft and gooey, maybe if you asked room service for some fresh from the oven...
I'm pretty picky about my cc cookies (no chips ahoy here) and these were top notch - sorry to hear that others were so diappointed
BTW, the oatmeal are the best...just ask room service

I have to agree with the OP. We had the ones from Cookie's on CC, and didn't think they were all that. Of course, I know those are put out in masses, so it would be hard to get a fresh one there.
I think I'm going to have to try the ones from room service next time.
BTW, What is the "Galley tour" that some of you were speaking of?

They were pleasant, in that sort of a "better than a chips ahoy but then, what isn't?" way.

Oddly, to me, chips ahoy are better than the DCL cookies. Even my DGS ate some of the DCL cookie and then handed it back to me, lol, but he is used to our Toll House cookies, so that could be it too. I'm not saying they are terrible. They just don't taste very good to anyone in my family.

There were a ton of treats on the ship, so it didn't matter to me if the cookies were good or not. That said, I love desserts and highly recommend the "Ivory Coast Cake" we had in March at the Topsiders embarcation buffet. I took one bite and I swear, angels were singing.

We were on a cruise last June, I ordered six chocolate chip cookies from room service and they told me they had them ready to go on plates only by the dozen. Well I didn't argue with them I gladly excepted the full dozen. I thought they were a little to well done, if they had been cooked a few minutes less they would have been better. A few days later we tried the oatmeal raisin, again they would only send me cookies by the dozen and they were very good. Robin
